There are not many times that a game totally captivates me that this game did. The story is on point, the combat is fun and responsive, and the dungeons took me back to some old-school zelda dungeon crawling. I had a blast playing through what was complete of the game, and I'm certainly looking forward to playing through the final product!

This was quite a significant step down from the first game. It features a disappointingly small number of puzzles that feel uninspired compared to than its predecessor, none of which took too long to figure out. That isn't to say that the puzzles weren't fun, for the most part they were. But i definitely felt that the puzzles from the first game featured somewhat more variety.

For a game of this price, I really expected more than 1.5-2 hours of gameplay (A large portion of which was spent stuck in a time based puzzle that barely gave you enough time to complete). And while going back to play through a second time to try and get the second ending was midly interesting, it added nothing substantial gameplay or lore wise, which was pretty dissapointing.

While it was certainly a relatively enjoyable 1.5 hours of initial play time, it needed to be much longer.

A definite buy for any defender! :D
