During this 2nd lockdown, it's just nice to get out of the house, even virtually.

Wow. 49p for this. A steal. Some game modes easy, some not.

There's nothing I can say about this game that hasn't already been said ad nauseum. It's one of the simplest games out there. Avoid the walls that comes flying towards you by moving your little triangle left and right around the shape of, you guess it, a hexagon. But wait! Sometimes the shape your little trianle moves around is a pentago, or, dare I say it, even a square!

Gameplay is fast. Stupidly fast at times, especially if you unlock the higher levels, which, if like me, you have the hand-eye co-ordination of a new-born baby, will be especially tough. I've put double-figure hours into this game, and I've unlocked one level.

It's the "I'll do better this time" element that will draw you into this game as you learn the techniques and your personal bests start creeping up. You'll load it up for a few goes to pass the time. Maybe you have a pizza in the oven. Before you know it, day has turned into night, and your kitchen is full of smoke.

The last time I cheered for lasting 18 seconds, my girlfriend packed her bags and left.

Waaay back in the early 90s, there was "The Typing Of The Dead. A game I played at work. Yes, the company invested in a typing game to see if it improved our touch typing skills. Of course, it didn't, but memories of blokes walking around with Dreamcasts strapped to their backs made me want this. Firstly 0 points for the system specs listed They seem to be much higher than what's needed... "Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 6450, NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 or Intel Integrated Graphics HD 3000 ". I'm running this on an ATI Radeon 4650 with drivers from 2012. Works like a charm

My one bug-bear with the game, and I can't believe I'm typing this, is the amount of unneccesary swearing in the game. I'm not syaing it in a prudish way, but it's used so often, it just comes across as lazy and forced. I spend every cut scene not actually paying attention to the story, but thinking "I wonder when the next unneccessary F-bomb comes al.... ah, there it is." Storyline-wise, it's not a game that grips you. Unless you're a "house Of The Dead" fan, I assume.

And so, to the gameplay. This is where it's the killer. You can either touch-type or you can't. If you can, graphics are important, and I can't possibly make a valid comment on them, as a) my card is a generation or so below the minimum and b) I can't touch type, meaning that my eyes are constantly flitting away from the screen around the keyboard.

I'll probably keep returning to it, putting in an hour or so here or there. I can't help feeling that it could have been so much more
