Very sweet point and click adventure. Relaxing. Nice concept. Lovely soundtrack. It's a shame that there are no achievements but there are trading cards.

Without controversy, Dead Rising 2 is a classic. After the demise of GFWL, this game was migrated to Steam, successfully for the most part. The game has full controller support and the frame rate is buttery smooth. It is the best version of the game by far, BUT, the game has a defect in Terror Is Reality (TIR) whereby it crashes after completion of an entire TIR episode. There are ways around this by reading the Steam forums but it definitely kills the already painful experience of having to find active players who will work with you to complete what would otherwise be almost impossible TIR achievements. The TIR official Steam group is redundant now and comprises mostly of members who do not interact / participate with those looking for genuine assistance with TIR. The Xbox One and PS4 TIR groups are way more active in all ways possible. This lead me to try and form my own group. I want to extend a special thanks to the 3 who really helped me in getting the TIR achievements. You all know who you are! Overall, I am stating this because I just want those out there to make sure they know exactly what they are getting themselves into when they embark on buying this game.

This is one of those games that got away from me and I never really knew why I never brought myself to play it. I played Fallout 3 in its entirety on Xbox 360 and I suffered from the terrible misconception that Fallout New Vegas was inferior because it was not developed by Bethesda. How ironic that in reality the truth is in fact the opposite of that such notion. Obsidian has produced a work of art and a labour of love here.

I'm playing this in 2020 and it holds up so well. A timeless classic. I opted for the Steam version after watching some feature-length videos on YouTube. I highly recommend two YouTube channels in particular; "Oxhorn" and "Grohlvana". They are excellent at re-introducing this game to newer players. The Xbox 360 version does not hold up as well, even when played via backward compatibility on Xbox One. It's fine, because the Steam version is so affordable these days.

Overall, the time you spend on this game will be most memorable.

I now find myself feeling more curious about The Outer Worlds.
