this game has been my hyperfixation of the month and i have been sleeping extremely later than usual because of it (willingly).
i think the beginning of the game can be a little tough when you only have the balloon to rely on, but i think it's just to add a little extra challenge! i'm a firm believer in the idea that you can't rely on everything being easy in the beginning, otherwise you'll lose the motivation to keep progressing in the game.
one of the things that DID bother me about the beginning of the game would be that you would come across spirits that you can't keep because you don't have a spirit barn yet, but that shouldn't be a problem with the upcoming winter update!! :)
just like everyone else has said, if you like stardew valley, pokemon, and animal crossing, you will like this game! the art style is also suuuuuuuuper cute :')
