Nick, my dearest friend, I never thought that I'd write you a goodbye. It hurts to know that you are gone. I feel like we grew up together, but now it's just me here. You were one of the only people I've known for 10+ years and still kept in touch with despite how far our paths veered from one another. I remember txting after Spanish class in highschool joking about el tren. I remember picking the same Sassy SAS ct or zebra pants t when we csed together. I remember scrimming and your mom came in the room vacuuming out of no where and I spit my coffee on my monitor from laughing. I remember how much you cared for your dog Charlie. I miss you deeply and always will. I find joy in remembering the happy moments you brought to my life when I was growing up, how we talked about what we overcame and growing old, and how we always checked up on one another throughout the years. I will always cherish those things, and I will always be thankful that our paths crossed. Rest in peace.
