If you are a naked man with a hatchet and running through the woods trying to survive, you will meet many people with better gear who just shoot you on sight. You will think "What the f*ck, why did they do that, clearly I am no threat to them and I am friendly - what as*holes!" And it really feels like those people are as*holes. But now I know why they do it and they probably feel like as*holes too.
