Here's the TL:DR of why you shouldn't play this:
- It's designed like a predatory mobile game
- It's not really free. Free playing isn't exactly fun for long.
- The game's resource drops and uses aren't balanced
- Art style generally visually inconsistent and derivative
- Shady and shaky QoL features
- It's been abandoned
DESPITE having few bugs, the vibe being charming and relaxing, and it being a better game than most other mergers.

It's designed like a predatory mobile game:
- It baits you into thinking the premium currency is commonly acquirable in boxes, which makes you think the 2-5 runic drops and chests are no big deal, then drops become significantly rarer.
- It showers you with a LOT of different items you can't use or find early on with a limited space to work with, a lot of which I hope you kept because you need them for quests! It's always a problem from that point on. It's technically better here than other games, but still obviously limited enough to sell you the small amounts of spaces at quickly escalating prices.
- The crafting system's time requirement is abhorently long, abhorently fast. It starts letting you get an idea of how long it is with the first tier of items at 15 minutes, then instantly scales to 1-2 hours just a few hours later. Of course, you could spend premium currency to speed up~
- There is immediately an energy system. It seems fine at first as the game frequently replenishes your energy, but then it stops, and you start to NEED to go into dungeons to make any progression because of some resources not being available anywhere else. It becomes the first thing you do and runs out instantly. And of course the energy cost increases with tier of dungeons.
- Tools need to be repaired quickly and often. While this would otherwise be a fine system in a different game, it adds to the obvious premium currency cash-grabbing.
- FOMO limited-time money-only microtransactions for quick progress when you otherwise are struggling to make any meaningful progress in a single play session

It's not really free. Free playing isn't exactly fun for long:
- The world requirement for smaller and smaller amounts of space unlocks become quickly a huge max EXP upgrading grind. This is both a bad idle game trope and a pay-walling method typical of mobile games too.
- The event block amounts required increases very quickly, so event-related returns will quickly diminish, and so will purchased event box.
See previous category for more reasons

The game's resource drops and uses aren't balanced:
- Some resources are extremely easily available but with very few uses when you start to get them, while some others are always in huge demand while only grindable in one very limited, RNG-riddled way. (SAND, coal, etc.)
- Some items that are available from the beginning have literally no use for a long period of time, while you know that you should keep them, taking a huge amount of precious space. (FLINT, stars, etc.)
- The several weapon power upgrades you get early-on become close to useless after the first tier without insane gold and premium currency investments, while some visible barriers are multiple times higher in power than the power level of the second-tier tools. This means it's tier-locked, not power-locked. This means the tool upgrade systems and trinkets are dumb.

Art style generally visually inconsistent and derivative:
- Art, while charming, is EXTREMELY derivative, bordering on plagiarism for certain things. It's also child-bait, which considering the predatory practices here, isn't any better.
- Pixel sizes on textures vary widely, some textures are also awfully stretched.
- Some items are actual 3D, some are "3D" sprites, and some are flat 2D sprites.
- The drawings of characters aren't consistent with the style of the rest of the game. There's also inconsistency with the quality of them individually.

Shady and shaky QoL:
- The shop is on purpose made extremely limited to not allow much with gold coins outside of daily refreshes and (of course) premium currency use. There is not even a consistently available, but expensive gold shop to spend gold on, just a small ~7 different mostly common items with a handful to buy each
- The drop position for items isn't smart. The moment an item doesn't have open slots directly next to them, the same items will just drop wherever the center of the map is. This makes a huge mess, especially with large drop stacks.
- The heavy-handed item movement smoothing makes it very easily to drop items at the wrong spot and merge under 5 items together. Very frustrating with the more rare/valuable items.

It's been abandoned:
- Yup, the devs who said they wanted to make this game the best it could be (in their hundreds of posts about the same 5 events) have seemingly abandoned development of this game for at LEAST a year, if the update feed is accurate. Suffice to say, it is not at its best.
