Full disclosure: I love Lovecraftian lore. I was stoked about this game. I'm a longstanding Humble Bundle subscription guy, and I got it as part of the offering for August 2020.

Pros:
Graphic artists did a very good job.

Cons:
Many.
Constant camera sway, visual effects for double and triple vision. Game is a walking migraine. I had to actually stop and take a break and breathe because it was both giving me nausea and making me angry that anyone thought that this was a good design decision.
Bad writing. Neither the choices nor the skill tree appear to matter whatsoever.
Ending has no payoff.
Not a horror game by any stretch. The best way to sum it up is a puzzle about 3/4ths through the game -- there is no way to determine the solution intelligently: you must simply choose randomly and die repeatedly until you get the correct sequence. That is the epitome of this game.
