Maintains most of the good quality from the first DLC and introduces a wealth of new enemies with very specific kill conditions. The escalation encounters were a highlight for me, giving you the opportunity to win some neat extra Slayer cosmetics and upgrades for the new Sentinel Hammer. The final boss encounter was a bit underwhelming, but the quality of the levels in general combined with the great visuals make this one a pretty fun end to Eternal's story nonetheless.

It's a decent-sized chunk of extra DOOOOOOM, three fairly sprawling new levels with a reasonable amount of collectibles to hunt down. Two of the three new story chapters might fall under my top five in the entire game - each all very much going for their own unique visual style. If you're fond of your Slayer outfits, there's a few in here that'll get you interested (Blood Slayer is a beautiful one). The boss fights are fun, and this expansion felt generally more difficult to me than the base game ever was. It's a worthwhile DLC that carries on Eternal's storyline in a meaningful way, at a price that won't be sending anyone into a bloodthirsty rage. Recommended!

A fun racer paying homage to the arcade classics, Hotshot Racing is a charming and accessible ode to games like Daytona USA and OutRun that has enough personalisation and variety to actually keep it interesting. Swap out visual elements of 32 different cars, divided into categories based on Speed, Drift, Acceleration, or a balance of the three. Change steering wheels, spoilers, liveries, exhausts, headlights and tail lights, etc - a neat extra touch of customisation. Races are heavily rubber-banded though, meaning your opponents will frequently overtake you and then slow down after disappearing down the road for a little bit, allowing you time to catch up with relative ease. This isn't actually quite as annoying as I thought it was going to be, primarily because you're also able to catch up at the same rate as everyone else and you spend more time jostling with other drivers, as opposed to vanishing ahead never to be seen again. However, one downside to this is that little noticeable difference can be felt in the game's three difficulty levels. Anyone acing normal races will have no problems on expert. Despite this, the visual style is cute, multiplayer adds to the overall race variety and there's enough fun in the drifting alone for me to warrant a recommendation.

Intriguing immersive destruction sim about overcoming your worst fears or making them even worse. Short but sweet, Kill It With Fire features pretty much every type of spider you'd ever feel inclined to kill with blunt force trauma, gunshots, hedge trimmers, or gas station explosions. The art style is charming, it looks super pretty, and it's well worth checking out. P.S.: pls don't kill spiders in real life lol

One of the deepest racing games currently going, F1 2020 somehow finds a way to improve on an already super-solid formula. I've sank most of my game time into the new "My Team" mode; a really fun twist on the usual career that has you start a team from scratch and operate everything along the way, including hiring drivers and choosing whereabouts to invest sponsorship prize money and general funds. It's been a long time since I've put so much time into a game so quickly and it's largely thanks to this new mode. Obviously the race calendar follows a 2020 season set in a world where COVID didn't happen, and so a lot of this year's allocated venues in the real championship are not featured; understandable considering the development window and release timing. Nevertheless, 100% recommended for racing enthusiasts.

Technically solid and faithfully rebuilt to negate some of the age of the 2005 original, Destroy All Humans! suffers from some boring missions and over-acted, unfunny dialogue, but redeems itself by retaining the fun sandbox gameplay that was always the game's best attribute in the first place. Additional free-roaming challenges should keep you busy as the story mode is only 5-or-so hours long. You shouldn't have any particular issues running the game either, combat gets hectic but it held up well on max settings. If you didn't pre-order, it's probably best to avoid the skin pack DLC until it's on sale, as it's absolutely not worth the full asking price. :)

A slow-burner that gets really good as it picks up the pace. Super engrossing story. If you're into games that take their time and allow you to explore, this is definitely one to look at.

It's basically Doom in an open-world wasteland. Feels slightly less barebones to me than others have suggested it is, combat is solid but the big draws are the massively upgradeable powers and spectacular, Mad Max-esque vehicle combat.
