I rarely write reviews, but this game has been thoroughly enjoyable for me. Sometimes I find the philosophical themes and questions a bit frustrating as they never seem to capture my actual point of view. But, eh, it's a puzzle game, and a great one at that!

The puzzles are not extremely challenging, but they do have many clever mechanics that interact in interesting ways. They are always fun to think-through.

The story kind of makes me roll my eyes sometimes, but it is fairly engaging and offers good motivation to progress and see what happens next. It just sometimes feels like the story is vaguely trying to lecture me about the evils of humanity, although it puts forth a lot of different viewpoints; some of which are genuinely interesting to me, although nothing earth-shattering. I'm also not a fan of how this game and the first one lump ideas from Judaism and Christianity in with ancient mythology as if it's all basically the same thing. They heavily imply (if not outright state in some places) that it's all obviously untrue, but it just might have some truths and interesting statements about humanity hidden in it. I disagree with that basic assumption from which much of the story flows, but I still found it quite entertaining and even interesting and thought-provoking overall.

The music and general sound design are really top-notch, I love playing this game with headphones on.

The graphics are very nice looking. I don't really have a computer that runs this game particularly well, so most of my time with it has been on the Steam Deck. It runs at a fairly low frame rate in some areas, but that hasn't hindered my enjoyment of the game. I never feel rushed or like I have to be really precise with what I'm doing which helps.

Overall, this is probably my favorite game I've played in recent years. If it wasn't for my own (perhaps somewhat petty) gripes with the story, this might have been one of my favorite games of all time.
