I played Diablo IV and it felt simple, just go an kill, throw magic until you can't use your fingers. So no, a little boring.
I played this one, and it felt overwhelming complex, an hour just to wear some clothes and figure out which powers you'll use in a single character (and you can have up to 4 in your party)... and you will fail and die all the time. Get up, die and repeat. Sooner or later you could win just because of chance and luck.
I wanted to play something complex, I prefer and buy some flight simulator where I need to read 400 pages just to takeoff.
Don't know, is how I feel right now. Maybe in a couple of weeks or months I will play again this game. But for now I wouldn't recommend this game.

BTW, I love board games and expend 6-10 hours on a single game and learn all the rules, but this game is too much.

Update: After months without playing I started again. On the easiest diffculty. Yes, I would say it is a "must" if this is your first time playing these games, there are a lot of mechanics you need to learn first. And don't expect to have powerfull character. Yes, you are the "hero" (if you choose that hehehe), but is all about strategy.
BTW, if you play on easiest it doesn't even feel boring, it is still challenging, fun, and is a long game (I didn't finished it yet). Many decisions can go in the opposite direction of what you wanted, and you'll want to play one more time. Many paths to choose.
The plot is very deep, and interesting. Each character has it's own background, and you can choose whatever help or not, or even kill them.
It's a well polished game, good graphics and sounds. Music could be better IMO, but is good and dynamic.

Start easy, without mods.
Then try to earn achivements.
Then try out new mods.
Then, forget about time, your friends, family, and quit your job. You life now belongs to factorio.

Un clasico que deberia ser obligatorio en escuelas y universidades.
