I HAVE ATTENTION-DEFICIT/HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD). I HAVE BOTH INTELLECTUAL AND LOCOMOTOR DISABILITIES THAT IMPACT CERTAIN ASPECTS OF MY LIFE. MY INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY AFFECTS APPROXIMATELY 50% OF MY COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS AND MY LOCOMOTOR DISABILITY PERTAINS TO 20% IN MY GAIT. MY INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY HAS LED TO LIMITATIONS IN CERTAIN COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS; HOWEVER, I HAVE DEVELOPED EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES TO MANAGE AND NAVIGATE DAILY TASKS. FOR MY LOCOMOTOR DISABILITY, I EXPERIENCE DIFFICULTIES WITH MY GAIT, WHICH AFFECTS MY PHYSICAL MOBILITY TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. HOWEVER, I HAVE ADAPTED TO THESE CHALLENGES BY UTILIZING ASSISTIVE DEVICES AND TECHNIQUES THAT ALLOW ME TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY AND CARRY OUT TASKS.
