The Good: I've only mucked about on this for about 10 minutes so far, and yes, this IS an Early Access game, but so far, I see this as a WONDERFUL tool for table top gamers (board games, RPG's, miniatures, etc). From what I've seen on the Forums, the Devs are going to update content (a tape measure is one of the ones they've talked about...for miniature gaming), so this is going to add even more variation to the creation and game play. I love the physics involved in the game, things like picking up and moving the pieces, shuffling cards, rolling dice, and even flipping the table (yes...that flipping the table).

The Bad: It's Early Access...it's effectively a beta...so right now, you pretty much have the basic stuff in the game. There is a thread on the Forums regarding the use of copyrighted material...this can hamper some of the more popular "games" being reproduced.

The Ugly: The "game room" is...well...empty...there's the table...but no walls, no floor...just the table (this is something that is added later).

That's really it...I enjoy the games so far, I hope that more is added in and that copyright holders allow for their products to be added to the Steam Workshop (when that's added).

The Good: This is the definitive South Park game. You get to run around many of the popular places in the "quiet, little mountain town." You don't need to have watched the entire series to play the game, although a few of the jokes do require a little knowledge of the series. All the "standard" characters are there: Kyle, Cartman, Stan, and Kenny, as well as some of the side characters: Jimmy, the parents, the Mayor, etc.

The Bad: Short...very short, in my opinion. Not to say that the content is lacking, I was actually very surprised by how much was in the actual game, but I felt that the Level 15 cap, the short story...I felt that those things were the big detractors from an otherwise incredible game.

The Ugly: ...I'll be honest here...poo humor has never been my thing...I think Mr Hanky is one of the worst characters they did...but...ugh...so much poo humor just got...blah...

Aliens versus Predator...the one that started it all. Aliens...Predators...Colonial Marines, oh my.

The Good: Albeit an old, "Classic" game, it's got good, solid controls. The storyline is decently thought out for the 3 types of campaigns (one for each race), although sadly, they're a bit on the short side. Where this game shines, though, is the multiplayer. Aliens are quick and fragile (although they can heal themselves), but are primarily melee fighters. Predators are big, hulking brutes (that go invisible...actually more of a drawback, though) with a few big guns. Colonial Marines...they're...well...Humans...but man do they have a LOT of guns.

The Bad: The campaigns are short, as previously mentioned. Graphics, if that matters to you, are...well, dated. And the Aliens' vision...what, at the time, was called Fishbowl Vision, can be...disconcerting (120 view, versus the normal 90 view). And finally, and sadly, although multiplayer is where the game shines, it's sorely lacking in maps...and since it's such an old game, there's little to no chance of any fan-made content for it.

The Ugly: The user interface is...weird. Although you can use a mouse to look around...there is no actual mouse use on the menues. That's really it...and even then, that's more of a personal inconvenience instead of a really bad feature.

Overall...I think this game rates a 4.5 out of 5. A great game, a great multiplayer experience.

X-Com...just the title evokes memories of an old DOS 386, watching my squad getting cut down by Sectoids, zombified by Chrysalis, throwing the grenade...and having it bounce to my feet. For those who have followed the series, the story is pretty much a re-hash for the first game.

The Good: I enjoyed the updated interface, the fact that your squad would automatically go into cover, the simplied Action Point (AP) system, and the way they kept a good feel of the original game.

The Bad: I miss the base micro-management. I miss the Base Assaults and the Base Defends. I miss the little things that were taken out to make this a more streamlined game (not to say that it's a bad thing).

The Ugly: The worst part of the game is the cover scheme. Now, it's great that your guys go into cover automatically, simplifying the AP system. But, JFC...watching your guy shoot straight through a wall (or be shot straight through a wall) without damage TO the wall is...disconcerting.

All in all, this is a great game. I've enjoyed playing this as much as I enjoyed the first game. Whereas it doesn't hold the fun and charm of the third game, but...it's a good nod to the original.

As a side note: The DLC Expansion, "The Enemy Within" does add in some fun of both the first game and the third game. I won't spoil anything, I think that is something everybody needs to learn, themselves. But if you're a fan of TBS games, a fan of actual strategy games...this is definitely one to pick up.

Wasteland 1...what can I say. THIS is the father of Post Apocalyptic RPG's. I remember playing this on my old Commodore 64. I am very pleased to see this on Steam. This game still retains its charm...sure the graphics aren't the best (what do you expect, it's from 1988), but the gameplay is just as amazing as I remember it. Pick this game up...it is WELL worth the money spent. It makes me incredibly anxious for Wasteland 2 (of which I'll be an NPC in).

FPS...Free...Fun...what more can you want?
