Reseña de Acceso anticipado
Spent a whole game repairing junction boxes and forgetting about the generator; died from waterpressure due to me trying to fix a hull breach where the crew had smashed a drone into the sub's airlock.
Later I just disappeared due to not leaving the respawn shuttle

10/10 would get barotrauma and die again

This is honestly the weakest Stellaris DLC, scarce worth the title of an expansion. I find myself disabling this whenever I play because it adds nothing of value and only makes diplomacy next to impossible due to random ass empires giving you maluses to your potential alliance partners.

I'm sure it's a terrific 4x game, but it lacks easy overview angles in the world map. Probably a 5H1T-tier complaint but I can't fully understand it without intuitive geo(cosmo?)graphical overviews and UI elements. It makes it hard to navigate your buildings in the system, and the ship UI is also confusing.
Don't get me wrong, it's probably a great game, and it is beautiful. I like many elements of it, but ultimately, it failed me.

Oh so I see you're interested in The Lord of the Rings Online (tm), huh?

Well then. See those ass graphics? Despite them it'll take an hour to download, even with top notch internet connection. Not that bad eh? That only brings you the launcher. This outdated ♥♥♥♥ will start downloading another 40 gigs of ♥♥♥♥ wtithout reason. Can't be arsed to wait that long because of a bet. It's actually worse than Payday 2. Same gigs, but Payday has the decency of actually downloading in one chunk. Honestly, screw this game

If you're as intrigued by the fascinations of Jump Over The Age's depiction of Gliese 667Cc and found yourself wanting more after you completed the game, I can't recommend this enough. It builds upon the world through the perspective of (spoiler for the game?) a marine biologist who visited Gliese 667Cc long after Ellery Vas and has access to her files , and documents many new creatures, all at least as fascinating as the ones in the game.

It is only text and pictures tho, no gameplay, but I've come to love this world so much that I'd say I wouldn't even mind reading a whole book if it so much as had Ellery call me "little guy" again.

In Other Waters puts you in control of an AI in a diving suit on an alien planet teeming with life. You are, however, disabled for presumably several years before the marine biologist Ellery Vas activates you, and requests your assistance in finding her ex-colleague. Being a biologist, Ellery is of course intrigued my the intricate alien ecosystems, which she describes in logs she keeps, which is your primary way of percieving the world. You do have a scanner, and you can collect samples from the world around you, but creatures are nothing more than dots on your scanner until Ellery describes their appearence and role in their respective ecosystems, either through the aforementioned extensive and detailed logs, accompanied by pictures, or text boxes describing every node (position) in the games map (the scanner). Unlock creatures in the taxonomy tab by simply scanning them (clicking), and unlock two additional panels of text and a scetch of the creature made by Ellery by collecting samples and running them in a lab.

While traversing the expansive oceans of In Other Waters, you need to maintain the oxygen and power of the suit, which isn't really that difficult since many nodes you can be in have several biosamples, most of which can be converted into one of the resources. The excellence of this game comes not from gameplay, but more so from the intricate alien ecosystems, the game's story and it's atmosphere.

Despite your character not having eyes, the readings on the scanner can be beautiful in their own sense, whether it be pools of toxicity, forests of stalks, buzzing oases of animals or thick clouds of spores, they all add to the aesthetic. Moreover, many locations have their distinct feel, not only because of the vast differences in flora and fauna that react to eachother and you in unique ways but also because the terrain differs, on top of the hud changing color occasionaly. The OST is... unique. Sorry I don't have the words, I'm not usually that engrossed in music, but it's a really dope OST for sure. You should check it out even if you opt out of buying the game.

Lastly, I want to talk a little bit about the story. This will contain slight spoilers, but probably shouldn't ruin the game for you.

I mentioned earlier that the story involves Ellery looking for her ex-colleague, Minae, but the story has much more than that to offer. As you work with Ellery, she keeps her personal logs and writes down her thoughts as you progress through the game, slowly uncovering mysteries such as her past with Minae and who Minae really is. Your own identity is an enigma as well, but this is explained in the story. Can't really say much more.

Widely considered the best Kingdom Rush, Ironhide really surpassed their previous installments with this one. One of my gripes with the previous games was that all towers only focused fire on the enemy within their range that had gotten the furthest, but now mage towers (excluding one of the lvl 4) and (at least one lvl 4) archer towers actually shoot several enemies, wearing them all down a little. This not only makes it easier for you reinforcements to deal with several half-healthed enemies, but also gives a prime oppurtunity for your artillery to finish them off. Barracks are now stronger than ever, with one lvl 4 with insane true damage and all but the first and the other lvl 4 having ranged (of course they're all more expensive now as well).

All enemies feel more polished and powerful without being more OP. They gave this games' hounds the ability to dash through barracks, avoiding them completely, incentivizing the (probably) initial thought with hounds; no barracks, just shoot 'em. And some big gnolls get stronger when in a pack, incentivizing spreading their forces thin to deal with them easier. And the gloomy, flying enemy that duplicates. Kill this as soon as it spawns to avoid being overrun by a swarm of gloomies. These kinds of things gives enemies their own identities, instead of "Fast man, average man, strong man, flying man" etc.

The game takes place before the first Kingdom Rush, which makes Origins the canonically first KR game (shocking) and describes how the kingdom was before. However, since Linirea is a human society, and Origin features (mainly) elves, I am a little confused as how this is supposed to be the origins of Linirea. I was not that big of a fan of the setting, since it is mostly elves and only one mini-campaign with dwarves. I do not like elves, I like dwarves. It is however by no means a bad setting, it just didn't fit my preferences. But what gives, the map and levels are all beautiful as always nonetheless.
