It's better than CSGO, though dont expect to find any English servers when you play. Only the Russians, Spanish, and Portugeese play this game now and communication is impossible.

Like I said though, still better than CSGO.

You could get Zandronum to play it too but I mean, it's doom.

Although Bethesda has abandoned this game, i think its alright. It got most of the core elements of fallout correctly albeit even if the story isnt the best. I enjoyed the sidequests and the amount of exploration this game had to offer, even if you have to go out of your way in some areas to look for things you wouldnt expect to find. Sure you may not have a big iron on your hip, but this game got fallouts atmosphere right for the most part.

Also, tunnel snakes rule.

As one who has read the comic and wasted over 2 months of my life on it (that I will never get back), this game was only released just to show the fans of Hussie's work that their Kickstarter money wasn't being put to waste. Sure these guys were ripped off by another company during development, and I will give them credit for not scrapping the project entirely, but this is just pure laziness.

The game itself barely lasts 2.5 hours. Just enough so you can't refund after completing the game. Indie game devs often like to do this, suck you in the story for a little bit and then leave you with a cliffhanger ending, for you to wait months upon months to possibly buy a sequel that may never even come out. I would use Toby Fox as an example, but even he still released a somewhat sequel to Undertale. And what kind of sequel did we get to this? Friendsim. Those VN games we got were also excuses so that the fans wouldn't stop caring about the series. You could tell me "oh but wait those games were meant for you to be able to meet the trolls in act 2" let me tell you that if there is an Act 2 and it's about as short as this game, then you will only have minimal interactions with those trolls that met in that game. There are no redeemable aspects of this game other than the nice artwork and the music, but the gameplay is minimal and ends when it gets interesting.

The fanbase? Typical Tumblr-styled (rip tumblr lmao) social justice warrior crap who try to change genders and zodiacs and often try to Roleplay SBURB or some other ♥♥♥♥ with you. I don't think the fanbase has ever been this bad since 2011 when all the little kids went on the MSPA forums and caused havok at conventions (who later moved on to Minecraft and then Fortnite). I've tried to talk with others about this game before and they always do something stupid like bring up a TYPING QUIRK XXXXXXXXD GET IT CAUSE IM ROLEPLAYING or often change the subject because even they know that there most likely won't be a second act coming. The Undertale fandom is actually more sane than this now that I think about it.

The developers of this game have also been silent about another act. They've hinted that it would come out spring of 2018, but it's now going to 2019 and we have absolutely nothing from them. We got an announcement from the freelance music producer James Roach who told us that it was on infinite hiatus. I reccomend you check out some of Roach's work, as he has potential to go big, and hasn't dug into the gender zodiac changing mess that another former music producer on the team went through before he killed himself (you know who I'm talking about). Lots of workers were laid off the development team as well, for no known reason other than possible financial troubles, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because people buy the overpriced merch on their store such as the books and shirts and things like that.

Other than that I simply cannot reccomend this game in the current state that it's in. The $8 price tag is too much and now I think $4 is a somewhat more reasonable price, but the fact that Hussie and his team thought it was okay to release something like this to his "loyal" fanbase is quite depressing honestly.

I am leaving comments on because unlike some of the people who played this game, I can handle criticism.

Even after Valve's grand attempt at rebadging their shiny golden egg. The game is still incredibly flawed. Yes, the new Source 2 engine is pretty and the performance is nice (except on the steam deck for some reason?), but technical problems from the game's source 1 days still shine through. Randomly, the game will still crash, even if moved to a different drive, reinstalled, and verified once more. It is unacceptable to ship software in this state, and punishing the users for it via their premier rank falling is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Valve, please fix your game, ffs. And let me refund for a F2P game I never willingly wanted to pay for.

Absolute Trash.

VN games are supposed to be good and actally have plot (and the other plot too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ). This game amazingly fails to even have a plot. Like it starts with a plot but then "OH NO SOME CREEPY STUFF HAPPENNS WOA". I mean, ♥♥♥♥♥ undertale was scarier than this. This game's characters are also trash and Monika is a ♥♥♥♥♥. It's unbelivable how dissapointed I was with this game.

Sadly, you can't refund a free game, but I wish you could.

I am so happy I picked this game up for $5 since I've been saving up for it and waiting for it to go on sale. I grew up playing this on the PlayStation 2 (ps2) and had a terrible framerate. I now get to play it in a silky smooth 30fps. That was a joke I actually get 60 on most maps. This game is so good that the new Battlefront by EA came out 10 years later and the only good thing about it is the graphics. I remember spending hours and hours playing this game on the PS2 and just being amazed at how I could actually be in the same places as the Star Wars movies.

This is most likely the best $5 I've ever spent.

Ok, I know this says like 1 hour but I have played this game on Android before and have completed it. So let me explain, it's a fun game where you play as Sonic, Tails, and Sonic and Tails to stop Dr. Robotnik from going back in time and causing havok on Little Planet, a small planet chained to another bigger planet. It is truly a fun game to play with the amazing Japanese soundtrack (I do not reccomend the US soundtrack though as it is a little creepy in some parts). This game is a masterpiece in a sense that it brought attention to what SEGA could do back in the 90's with the hardware/add-on's to the Genisis and create great games. This remake of the game just makes the atmosphere of the game that much better. It will go down as one of the best games I have ever played.

That's all I have to say, your job now is to hit that purchase button and experience it for yourself.

I DO NOT reccomend this game for new players. It is complex and most of the time every server has at least one non-english person that makes the communication for the game often impossible to play. Not to mention, this game is about 5 yars old at the time I write this, and there's only 1 map (a small one I might add). Yeah there's the side stuff that you can do which have maps but they're not part of the CORE game. Also, EVERYTHING in this game is a cashgrab similar to TF2. "You want a nice weapon for you're character? $10. Oh a nice cosmetic? $5 (per each I might add). This game is alright in the particular sense but I would have reccomended it if it werent for the next reason.

Valve, please stop the work on CS:GO and this game and bring the final game to the half-life series already, or at least make this game better in some way.

Get ready to say goodbye to your social life and hit that purchase button at the top.
