Before we begin, here's a bit of background. I got this game around the time of the 5th anniversary, since then I have accumulated 1400 hours on record, I have recommended it to several friends and I can confidently say that I have played at a both a low and high level (I tend to move between 4 and 6 stars). And if you were to ask me if this game was worth getting before August 15th, I would. But now with the re-release and the game moving into Hunt 1896, I cannot say the same.

Pros:
- ..the map looks nice? Kinda? Sorta? Okay being completely serious, the map plays well. If you're in the woods. ONLY if you're in the woods.
- The new boss is neat.

Cons:
- The map is complete dog turd. If you're on the woodland areas of the map, it will play nice, as there is cover and I can confidently say that by en large, every type of play style can work if you put in the work to get good at it, and fights feel good at every range. But if you're anywhere other then the woods god help you. It's like they took a look at the maps we had before and went "how can we absolutely ruin everything about them". The compounds are overdesigned mazes in most cases, the mines have barely any cover for people to fight in, the colors are all so muted that if someone is hiding in a tree with a particular type of skin, they'll be borderline invisible, even more then they were before. Gunfights boil down to either long range throwdowns with long ammo or into shotgun/close range fights with nothing in between.
- The game's optimization was taken to the back of the shed and executed with a nitro express rifle. I'll believe that the game looks prettier than before for people that spend too much money on a computer, but in the case of me that needs to set everything to minimum specs to play at a steady frame rate, the game somehow looks worse then max graphics quality in the old engine
- The UI's level of atrociousness has been beaten like a dead horse, before. Throwing my two cents in the ring, yes, the UI is dog turd, no hotkeys don't fix it. I'm playing on a computer with a mouse and keyboard. I don't want or care about hotkeys.
- The game has less content then before. The good maps are gone and now I'm genuinely concerned that they're going to take those maps and wreck them as well. I have told my friends I would rather have 50 fights in scupper lake then 1 fight in most of these compounds.

So yeah. As much as I loved this game, I cannot support it or keep endorsing it or recommending it to my friends
Also to those youtubers and streamers that are defending this update: You are either coping hard because your career depends on this game, or you're paid shills. Pick your poison I guess.

This game is now so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad I'd rather play Tarkov. In Streets of Tarkov

I just love basicly everithing about this game, ecept the fact i always see myself coming back to it after a bit of playing it.
I has a high amount of lore related content, lots of characters we call Warframes and its constantly being updated.
And the best part-ITS COMPLETELY FREE...and its better then destiny XD
