To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to play gremlins inc. The gameplay is extremely complex, and without a solid grasp of the mechanics most what goes on will go over a typical player's head. There's also Gremlins inc aesthetic, which is deftly woven into the gameplay- it’s art style draws heavily from classical political cartoons, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of the gameplay, to realise that it’s not just fun- it say’s something deep about CAPATLISM. As a consequence people who dislike gremlins inc truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in the gremlin’s existential catchphrase "Attack the leader," which itself is a cryptic reference to Karl Marx’s Das Capital. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Charlie Oscar’s genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens.
