Yeah it's pretty good!
Really enjoy the combat, it feels fantastic and is great fun. Both guns and melee weapons hit like a truck, the new unlock/crafting systems makes getting the weapon you want easier than ever.
Variety between classes is fun, Ogryn is great.
Graphically very nice and the art design of the whole game is top tier.

The most fun I've had with a game in a while! Real nice feeling movement and third person shooting mechanics, extremely beautiful environments (the lighting is so nice) and lots of weapons and equipment to play around with! Very fun to play co-op with friends!
Since Mercenaries on PS2 I've often felt "Damn, more games should let you call in a ridiculously overpowered airstrike" and I'm glad we got another game that lets you call in huge and dangerous airstrikes.

I beat the main story on the Gamepass version before purchasing on Steam, hence the relatively low playtime.

Wow! I love this game! Easily the most fun I've had with a game in a long time, I can't recommend Cassette Beasts enough!
The obvious game it will get compared to is Pokemon, boy do I wish some of the Pokemon devs would play Cassette Beasts! It's like they took all the fun and cool elements of Pokemon and removed the boring, tedious parts! In a way, it kind of feels like they made Pokemon for adults (this is a gross oversimplification).
The way type advantages/disadvantages manifest as buffs/debuffs is really smart and cool and for me it meant fights never got boring, it always felt like you could pull off something really clever! You also get more than 4 moves available to you at once!
Moves are "Stickers", you can freely remove them and apply them, they just go into your inventory. It's so refreshing just being able to play around and experiment with different movesets whenever you want.
You can get rare stickers with extra stats on them!
Some of the sticker names made me laugh out loud.
The beast designs are pretty cool, Southpaw my beloved.
You become the Beast rather than just sending a beast out to fight for you, so you have your own HP bar beneath the Beasts' HP bar. I thought this added a really cool layer to battles where you could take out enemies via overkill damage through their Beast HP Bar and damaging their HP bar directly. You can beat NPCs by knocking them out before they switch to their second tape. Of course you're also vulnerable to this.
The Traversal abilities you get to move around the world are great and make even just moving around the world fun.
Bootlegs are basically shinies but they actually have gameplay impact in that they change typing and result in that Beast getting rarer stickers.
I like when games have a big flashing button that powers you up, the fusion button is that. The way the battle music has lyrics kick in when you hit that button gets me every time.
There are lots of dog like beasts and critters so I love this game!

Oh also, there's a normal dog!

Play Cassette Beasts!!

Really enjoyed this game! I had great fun with the streamlined take on XCOM, besides a bug I had to use a mod to fix, I had a very good time! Would recommend!

A fun gun video game!

I picked up the first Destiny midway through Year 2 and LOVED it, bought the subsequent expansion and eventually pre-ordered Destiny 2. Destiny 2 kind of sucked at launch! I finished the campaign as all three characters and dropped it.

Until Forsaken came out! Forsaken is VERY GOOD and made the whole game MUCH, MUCH better. If you're playing Destiny 2 as a f2p player and enjoy the content you have, I'd highly recommend getting Forsaken! I don't own Shadowkeep right now, however I have a lot of content to keep me going from the base package + Forsaken so I would recommend checking this game out!

And please, bank your motes!!!

A very good game!

An emotional rollercoaster of a game that goes from some nice, spiritual and chilled to "wow this is too real". If you're a ~millenial~ you will probably relate to someone in this game! Which makes it all the more too real at times.

There is a fair bit of repetition, it is there for a purpose I believe, but if you don't like repetition this probably isn't the game for you! For me that daily ritual of repetition (and every other day with the dusk stars) where you went to visit everyone and everything was actually very therapeutic.

Buy this game!

I would recomend this game at its current sale price, I would advise against purchasing at full price.

This game feels like a step down from Fallout: New Vegas however it can be entertaining all the same, I have enjoyed playing it despite some frustrations. I'm a sucker for the setting so I enjoyed it despite how much I am about to complain!

Fallout 4 combines the inherantly fun exploration of a cool setting with a myriad of strange and at times baffling design choices, not to mention a whole mess of bugs which unfortunately seem to have become the standard. (Get the unofficial patch mod, you won't regret it!)

Whilst the shooter mechanics have vastly improved, pretty much every other facet of combat is worse than New Vegas; melee combat is woeful, an almost naked raider can deflect a swing from a super sledge with their bare arms, Feral ghouls always initiate combat with a horrifically jerky set of animations which sends them teleporting forwards straight through any attempt to hit them. Gun perks have been carved up into a strange combination of PISTOLS, RIFLES, AUTOMATIC WEAPONS leaving semi automatic 2 handed weapons straight up just better than everything else. You can no longer simply equip a grenade, it is on a hotkey.

The towns in the game are almost non existant, the Settlement mechanic pretty much means you have to build the towns yourself! As a result there is a lack of vendors early game. Enjoy having no ammo if you choose to use automatic weapons. Whilst a fun distraction for a while, Settlement building is quite unpolished and janky to the point where it can be very frustrating.

Power Armor is very cool, however you probably won't use it often.

The SPECIAL and perk system is a mess, some perks are straight up bad, some perks are locked behind arbitrary SPECIAL requirements.

The writing is straight up bad at times, Kid in a Fridge is such a bad quest.

Overall you get the sense Bethesda made Fallout 4 to experiment with a bunch of weird mechanics and shipped it as a game. Unfortunately they shipped it as a main series game in a much loved franchise. I sincerely hope that next time, they actually figure out what game they want to make, instead of throwing random features at a wall and seeing what sticks.

The first 50 hours I played it was one of the best games I've ever played... then you get up to chapter 2 and it all kinda just fizzles out instead of actually ending.

I'm giving it a Yes still because I really enjoyed those first 50 hours plus the fox engine itself is notable in being really really pretty, really well optimised and feeling very good to play. DD is also a precious pup who gets a big thumbs up and a scratch behind the ear from me.

I thought the "we can't have real world weapons" thing was dumb since MGS has all these characters with their iconic signature weapons and stuff then now they just have generic rifle #1.

Another downside is she breathes through her skin.

Buy it when it's on sale or something.

I think the base gameplay is really cool and I love the soundtrack but...

I'm literally drowning in paid DLC, I'm such a sucker for DLC that I bought premium on Battlefield 4! That's how much of a dumb idiot I am, now consider how bad the state of your DLC is when even an idiot like me thinks your attitude to DLC is terrible!

Crime.net with its arbitrary pointless waiting for the heist you want on the difficulty you want to appear is tedious and unfun and how is it still a thing.

The unlock system with flipping a card get's boring after you get your 50th tactical pistol flashlight instead of mods you can actually use.

Often new content is made to be "difficult" at the expense of fun.

I'd recommend not buying this game so that you don't end up buying it twice in DLC!

I love it there is plenty of dogs, plenty of funny, plenty of good music, plenty of emotion and the ending is something you should experience!!

Play the free demo! If that doesn't make you fall in love with the game then this isn't the game for you!

Every game I kickstarted turned out bad and I regretted it, except Undertale that turned out THE BEST and I'm very pleased and can't wait for Toby to send me stickers.
