What an excellent adventure is Nightmare Frames! I loved every part of it, but let's start with all the good stuff:

* Amazing music
* Delightful pixel art (just look at the reflexes, shades, the lighting, the portraits...)
* A lot of locations to visit and explore
* Interesting puzzles, you won't get too stuck, but you'll need to make sure to search well every location and think whit the brain I'm sure you have
* The story, oh boy the story, it's interesting from the start but it gets better and better. If you like horror movies you'll love it (full of references to great movies and directors), but even if you don't it's a great story to play
* The dialogues are so well written, the characters feel like real people, they talk like they were, they act like they were...
* Fully playable on the steam deck!

Now it's time for the not so good stuff
* It's text only. I wish this game had a decent voice acting, I'd have enjoyed tremendously. Budget issues I guess
* Most puzzles are easy but there's one or two where I had to search the locations very thoroughly. I would not calling pixel hunting but it was close. Making your screen brighter helps a ton.
* I wouldn't hurt to add a few different solutions to some puzzles

Overall one of the best games I've played this year. Congrats to the devs! Can't wait for your next game!
