An action RPG with a challenging gameplay and atmospheric world, where players confront formidable enemies and uncover a complex, interconnected narrative in a dark and visually stunning universe.


In this game you will play as Ashen One, and your main job is to link the First Flame. The First Flame is nearly extinguished, as its fire is fading due to no one linking the flame for a long time. Prince Lothric of Lothric was destined to be a Lord of Cinder and link the flame, but he refused due to being cursed and disdaining the linking of fire.

Lothric's rejection led to the Undead Curse taking over, bringing on an Age of Dark without the flame being linked. Then, one day, a bell rings at Firelink Shrine, signaling an emergency to save the First Flame before it fades out. This bell wakes up the old Lords of Cinder, like The Abyss Watchers, Aldrich the Devourer of Gods, and Yhorm the Giant, along with you, the Ashen One.

Now, the Ashen One is a special undead called an unkindled. Unlike the others, they couldn't become cinder and link the flame, so they don't have an internal flame or soul. No soul means the Ashen One doesn't hollow after death like regular undead, overcoming the curse. To successfully link the First Flame, you've got to take down the previous five Lords of Cinder.

The gameplay is unforgiving, rewarding patience, skill, and a thorough understanding of enemy patterns. My second FromSoftware game after Sekiro, proved to be a thrilling experience. I went for a dexterity build, took the Mercenary class, and played the whole game with the Twinblades as it suited more my playstyle. Achieving all achievements took around 85 hours with two new game plus playthroughs. Main game was 61 hours, with 20 farming Covenant Items. Most were easy with help from Steam forums, but Darkmoon Covenant was a grind. I also played Ashes of Ariandel (4.5 hours) and The Ringed City (8.5 hours) DLCs. Ringed City is a must, you will play the most enjoying boss, Slave Knight Gael, which is widely considered to be the final boss of the entire Dark Souls series.

Regarding the pricing, the game's initial cost of €59,99 and the Deluxe Edition at €84,98 seem somewhat steep, especially considering the game is available at a 50% or greater discount during one of Steam's major sales. I managed to secure my Deluxe Edition during the Steam Summer Sales for €42,49. Despite the game being released in 2016, I found the price justified and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is an exceptional game that offers an unforgettable gaming experience. I was able to complete the game without any issues on the normal difficulty level in roughly 17 hours. As someone who played the first game, Ori and the Blind Forest, I can truly appreciate the effort put into the sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps. I would suggest playing the first game before moving on to this one.

While the game is relatively short, it offers replayability through its multiple branching paths and alternate endings.


The gaming experience on the Steam Deck is quite impressive, as the game runs smoothly with high graphics settings and a stable 60fps framerate without any need for adjustments. However, in order to conserve battery life, I reduced the refresh rate to 40hz via the Quick Access Menu (accessed through the three dots button "..."). With this modification, I was able to enjoy approximately four hours of gameplay on a single charge.

Pinstripe is a beautifully designed indie game with a unique atmosphere and intriguing story. The game follows the journey of ex-minister Teddy, who is searching for his daughter in a mysterious underworld called Purgatory.

The art style of the game is stunning, with hand-drawn graphics and a dark color palette that perfectly captures the eerie and melancholic tone of the story. The music and sound design also add to the game's atmosphere, creating a haunting and immersive experience.

The gameplay is simple yet engaging, featuring puzzle-solving and platforming elements, as well as boss battles. The controls are smooth and responsive, making it easy to navigate through the various levels and challenges.

I spent four hours completing the main game.


The game runs smoothly without requiring any adjustments to its settings. However, to conserve battery, I lowered my screen refresh rate to 40Hz. I completed the game in a single charge, which lasted around four hours.

In terms of bugs, I only encountered one issue where it was impossible to return to the Main Menu. Selecting the option to return to the main menu would automatically redirect me to the continue option. To close the game, I used the STEAM button (on the left) and forced it to close. While this is not a major issue, it is worth noting.

Little Nightmares is a beautifully designed, horror-adventure game that takes players on a dark journey through the twisted world of The Maw. With haunting visuals and an eerie soundtrack, this game creates a tense and immersive atmosphere that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The platforming and puzzle-solving mechanics are well executed, challenging the player to navigate through the treacherous environment while avoiding deadly traps and enemies. The character design, particularly the protagonist Six, is charming and memorable. The game has a strong narrative that builds on its mysterious world and captivates you from start to finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed Little Nightmares and it took me 7 hours to complete all of the main game related achievements. Keep in mind that purchasing the DLCs is required to achieve 100% completion. I am eagerly awaiting a sale for Little Nightmares 2.

This is a small but charming adventure game that takes around an hour to complete. The game features a simple yet beautiful story, told without dialogue and accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack. The gameplay consists mainly of exploring and solving small puzzles, and the focus is on the touching narrative. In general, "A Bird Story" is a brief but memorable experience that is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing and heartwarming game.

Biped is a fun and charming puzzle-platformer game that features two cute robot characters. The game has a unique control mechanism that utilizes both analog sticks, leading to smooth and intuitive movements. The graphics and sound effects are simple yet appealing. The levels are well-designed and challenging, making for an enjoyable experience. Completing all levels with a friend took approximately 3 hours and resulted in a lot of laughter.

In this game you will play as a shinobi named Sekiro, commonly known as "Wolf" (Ōkami), who serves as a loyal guardian to a young lord, Kuro. Set in a fictional version of late 16th century Sengoku Japan, the game's story begins with Sekiro and his lord facing a fierce attack from the powerful Ashina clan, who are determined to claim both the land and the young lord for themselves. During the battle, Sekiro is gravely injured, but he is rescued by a mysterious figure known as the Sculptor.

Fueled by a desire for revenge, Sekiro sets out on a mission to rescue his lord and defeat the Ashina clan, led by their leader Genichiro Ashina. As he journeys through the game, he uncovers a complex web of political intrigue and betrayal as different factions compete for control of the land and an ancient and powerful artifact known as the "Divine Heir".

As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the Ashina clan is not the only force vying for power, and Sekiro must navigate a treacherous landscape of alliances and enemies as he fights to rescue his lord and bring down the Ashina clan.


The game's combat system features a combination of swordplay, stealth, and a prosthetic arm that can be upgraded with different tools and abilities. Players must master a variety of mechanics, such as parrying and deflecting attacks, in order to defeat enemies and progress through the game.

It also features a unique resurrection mechanic, where players can come back to life after being defeated, but at a cost. This adds an extra layer of tension and strategy to the gameplay, as players must weigh the risk and reward of each encounter.

The level design is also well-crafted, featuring a variety of environments to explore, from dense forests to ancient temples, and vertical exploration through the use of grappling hook.


This was my first encounter with a game from FromSoftware, I found it to be a truly challenging experience. It redefined my understanding of what it means to be a difficult game, and it took me 100 hours of gameplay to finally complete it, but I relished every moment of it.

Prepare yourself for frequent death, as there are no easy ways to conquer this game. The key to success is to master the gameplay mechanics and be patient. Take the time to study your enemies' patterns and movements, as they all have a rhythm that can be learned and exploited. Once you understand the rhythm, you will be able to overcome them. Just remember, "Hesitation is defeat".

The game includes a variety of mechanics and abilities that allow players to interact with the environment and solve puzzles, such as the ability to control bees, use drills, and transform into various objects.

This game is a soft reboot of the God of War series and follows the Spartan warrior Kratos, who is now living in ancient Norway with his young son Atreus.

One of the standout features of God of War is its stunning visuals and immersive environments, set in a beautifully realized version of Norse mythology with breathtakingly detailed environments and character models. The gameplay is fast-paced and satisfying, with a focus on intense combat and puzzle-solving. The story is emotionally charged and deeply personal, as Kratos and Atreus embark on a journey to scatter the ashes of Kratos' wife at the highest peak in the realms. Along the way, they must confront powerful Norse gods and monsters, as well as Kratos' troubled past as the Greek god of war.

In terms of playtime, the main story took me 29 hours to complete, and an additional 22 hours to complete all the achievements on the "Give Me a Balanced Experience" difficulty setting. This difficulty provides a good balance of challenge and accessibility, making it a good choice for players who want a more balanced experience. It's worth noting that you may be able to complete all the achievements on your first run through the game, as it's not necessary to play the "New Game+" mode.

God of War is a fantastic addition to the series and a must-play for fans of action-adventure games. It sets a new bar for the genre with its stunning visuals and emotionally powerful story.
