very fun
plays like an early access game
punishing as all heck
weird, buggy, but charmingly unique as all heck
example: if you play for a week in your world and then take your toon to a friend's, every day spent there will progress time in your own world for that specific toon. easily failing timed quests, spoiling food and crafting mats, etc
and many QOL/player experience enrichment oversights that are glaring enough they make you wonder why they weren't added
ANY sort features? auto-stack button? bag indicator besides only on the tiny compass? hardware optimization? etc etc
you DO need to BUY DLC to FAST TRAVEL ...
charming, unique, kinda feels like shooting yourself in the leg at times
the other times will have you engrossed in the punishing survival mechanics and combat encounters you'll experience every second of your epic journey
buy it, NOT MSRP/FULL PRICE. it's good. wait for a sale. $40 to have to spend $35 to get dlc to unlock fast travel and the other half of the game is a slap in the face

if this game was early access:
an extremely excited 8.9/10

since this was released in full 2+ years ago:
6/10

however devs are still constantly patching and updating the game. i still play it, and it's a blast with a friend. mods allow you to play online with more than 2 players. BUY THIS GAME + DLCS ALL ON SALE. at a discounted price the final review score comes to:

9/10 sale score!

This game is AMAZING.
Get it.
