I have had terrible performance across two different systems. Running on medium with a 3070ti still has areas dip below 30fps towards the later parts of the game. The game appears to be broken at the moment with unplayable inconsistent framerates.

Proceed with caution, and be prepared to refund if framerate issues pop-up. They only get worse as the game progresses.

Unfortunately this game has a locked refresh rate at 60 fps, forcing the game to go any higher will result in the game's action running at a higher speed as well, pretty much making it seem like time is running faster. The game also has it's max frame rate at 1080p by default. You can increase the resolution via a config tweak though. Overall, it's a very poor port if you don't have a 1080p 60Hz set up. And if you are sensitive to framerates at or below 60 then pass on this game all together.

Frame rate is bad, combat is bad, map is bad, graphics are bad, game is bad.

Still doesnt work with SLI 4 months later, keep digging.

When you have a 40 minute tutorial just to tell you how to move around, your doing something wrong.

So the first time I spawned into the game my entire screen was black. After fiddling around for a while I managed to look up into the sky and see some stars. Realizing that it was just a pitch black night, I pulled out a torch. My heart sank as not 15 feet away from me stood a completely naked man holding an assault rifle. He turned to me and uttered the words "whats up bro?" before he pulled the trigger. Rust may be lacking in features but it offers some hilarious experiences that no amount of scripting could ever pull off.
