I am enjoying this game a lot. The game is rather unique and enjoyable puzzle platformer where you optionally play with a friend as Yarns of wool navigating the environment as a story unfolds in the background. The game's puzzle and level design is an ingenious work of art. The challenges are uber fun.

Cons

Some of the achievements are crazy difficult.
Its hard to get an exact estimate of the story in backdrop.
Needs a controller.

Excellent premise for a game, but very poor execution, also too many DLC causing hefty price tag. I wish people who made simulation games took graphics seriously.

I found the controls difficult. There is some coarse language but story seems intriguing. I will be trying the game at a later date.

An honest attempt to put a laxmi bomb up El Sueneos's anus and light it. I'm not against drugs or people who use them, im against wickedness and cruelty that follows this line of trade.

Seriously good game, a hidden gem. The action maybe a bit clumsy but there are interesting and novel elements in the game like shooting a orb to unleash blades, explosives in strategic places to kill the undead. Shooting stuff in puzzles to get them to move. Also its on sale right now and totally worth it if you have a buddy or two to coop with. There are 6+ characters to chose from increasing replay value.

add - uninstalled this game, its boring solo and has poor save game structure. feels like a slog. they turned an interesting premise into a chore. trying to get steam friends to play with is not easy for me.

Pros
-----
-A worthy successor of Jedi - Fallen Order in terms of gameplay, mechanics and story
-Familiar characters for people who follow Star Wars Verse
-Its cool to see Bode use his Jetpack
-The Coruscant level was fun despite FPS being in 40s, it didn't feel unsmooth overall even when the fps dipped to 25
-I like the game so far.
-They released a patch in sept 2023, which means they haven't given up on this game. I hope they release future performance patches that totally fix the issues.

Cons

- The planet level that follows Escape from Coruscant seems a bit boring even with fps staying at 60 but i had only played a little.

ADD - Post playing 23 hrs i can say that the game is a bucket load of fun
ADD#2 - 100% achievements seem to require a second play through and involve a bit of a grind. I won't be doing that, at least not for achievements.

Pros
-------
-First Proper Potterverse game IMO. At least my first proper Potter verse game.
-Very detailed Potterverse environments with a lot of iconic locations like Hogsmeade, Zonko's, Honeydukes, Three Broomsticks and Hogsmeade's version of Ollivanders'
-The Hogwarts Castle is very big, wonderful and detailed.
-Interesting main quest so far, elements of mystery about what is going on
-Likeable NPC mostly, some familiar names for those who have read the books
-No Bugs encountered so far, so a good port.

Cons
------
-Shader preparation on every bootup which takes about 2 minutes
-High GPU requirments, even with an RTX 3060 i can only play smoothish on medium settings RTX off
-My AV says high CPU usage during shader prep,
-- Gear slots are almost always inadequate since doing Merlin trial is cumbersome.

Conclusion

barring few cons the game is well made and enjoyable overall and i heartily recommend it. 9/10. I am still enjoying the game.

add1 - 30 hrs+ into the game and it is still fun.
add2 - narrow minded views of the authors it would seem over the use of power, they don't know everything and are yet afraid to try new things(after 3rd trial), using ancient magic to blow stuff up is good but to heal its complicated and dangerous , such cliche,

add3 - in the end i decided to trust the keepers and keep the magic sealed away

p.s - i have read and reread books 1 -7, read tales of beedle the bard, seen the movies including fantastic beasts, yet to read quidditch through ages, cursed child and fantastic beasts and where to find them. i haven't followed potterverse much in past decade.

I played only for a short while so far vs AI(Easy) but it was fun. Needs a tutorial that teaches us to drive vehicles like tanks, jets and helis. I expect most people who buy are BF vets and need no introduction to these controls but i do.

I wanted to play because i liked the jets gameplay of this game which turns out is very hard to pull off effectively.

p.s - had to refund since EA app doesn't boot reliably, it was down for 2 days until someone came up with a fix that works.

add - 29-10-2023, bought it back in sale for 479/- for std edition and the game is still fun.

So far i've played the tutorial and 2 matches VS AI, the gameplay isn't that great hence im downvoting it. Also heroes are locked which i don't like.

Graphics are not that good either. I might play it further yet.

Worth the sale price....I like the quick race mode so far. Its violent, so don't try this at home.
