A video on my deafness

I'm a deaf person who loves to play some videogames especially CS:GO.
I'm wearing hearing aid for both ears but despite them I'm having trouble in directional hearing and understanding people what they are saying.

FAQ about my deafness:

How do you hear with your hearing aid despite being deaf?
I can hear everything with my hearing aid, I can react to every sound they make but like I mentioned above, I'm having trouble at finding out where sounds come from and I don't get 100% what people said to me. If you are clear enough to say calls (in CS:GO), I get it. For smalltalk it's hard to talk because I have to ask you to repeat everytime what you've said so I prefer smalltalk in chat.

How do you play your video games, especially CSGO?
I mainly rely on vision, thinking about how the situation looks like, predicting how the opponents would approach the bombsite.
I can talk. I give calls, I give infos what enemies are doing etc. Not every deaf person can't talk.

Don't. It doesn't matter. Bad things happens in everyone's life.

Do you think are you able to compete at higher level?
Uh, to be honest I don't know. For sure I want to compete at higher level: Before that, I have to keep practicing because I'm not even ready for that right now.

Update 2020: I barely touch CS:GO anymore. Starcraft 2 time!

Do you watch CS:GO pro scenes?
Yes, I'm informing myself about them all the time. My favourite team is NiP (f0rest, GTR, draken, REZ, Xizt lineup), Lekr0 is my favourite player.

Update 2021: No more NiP, now OG and AleksiB.
Update 2023: Forgot to update, been fan of FaZe since 2022 (karrigan, Twistz, broky, ropz and rain)
