Usually not a big fan of CRPGs, but this game is mind-blowing... Thanks Larian for the amazing journey, definitely worth full price!

What a great game! I haven't played any Portal game or mod in a while, but this one really delivered great test chambers, some fun new mechanics (which could have been used a bit more often imo) and a story, which isn't something totally new, but a perfect fit into the Portal universe. If you liked Portal 1 & 2, this mod is no-brainer recommendation - props to the team who made this. And special props to the voice actress of Emilia: Really nice character with great lines, acted so well!

This game and the community reaction to it really shows, how well Portal has aged and that we are more than ready for Portal 3.....

First things first: The driving feels better than ever before. And because of that, I want to love the game. But I simply can't.

There are many issues with this game. The worst is probably PC optimization. I run the game on medium settings, and it looks absolutely horrendous. Everything looks blurry (cars, environment, textures), nothing is crisp, meanwhile having mostly less than 60 FPS. The worst part: Forza Horizon 4 looks on the same hardware SO MUCH BETTER with SO MUCH MORE FPS! Strange is also, that it’s not always the same: Sometimes the game looks quite pretty, and sometimes it looks worse than FM5 from 2013…
Additionally, there are plenty of bugs, like the frames dropping extremely until a restart, infinite loading/saving screens, lost progress, etc. Many car models lack detail. Many old features are missing or are worse than before (e.g., car painting, ForzaVista).

The new progression system, car selection, AI drivers, multiplayer, all that stuff might be discussed controversially as well in the community but seem fine to me. At least if (and only if) the other issues will be addressed.

I was looking forward to this game for 6 years. I'm really disappointed and hope that the devs will improve this game until it is what it should have been since the release. Forza Motorsport could be so much fun, but just isn’t in its current state.
