Not fun,

Coming from just playing Mafia 1: Definitive Edition, here are some thoughts.

The gun play is sort of better, but aim assist is weird.
The story is convoluted and its really hard to connect with the characters like the last game.
You get a lot of money but it feels like you can't do anything with it other than repairing your car or buying a suit.
The driving is better.
There are still some visual glitches from time to time, but nothing game breaking.
Some missions are punishing and will make you restart from a very early point and that gets tedious.

Overall: 6.5

It's trying too hard to either be Subnautica or Rust. It gets VERY tedious at times and the end game puzzles are a slog. If you are looking for a good craft survival game there are others.

I feel they didn't even try. I didn't want a 10$ difficulty boost. I wanted 10$ worth of new content and challenges.

Out of the 5 challenges, 2 are fun. You are almost forced to scum your way through the rest of them. As of right now, it just is not worth it.

Very disappointed. Don't bother with it until they patch the HUGE problems it faces.

Ive played this since early access. What is most frustrating is it feels like older versions of the game were better than this one. The story is there, but its luke warm. "Go explore X, got to Y and get Z"(Repeat 5 times). The new characters they introduce mean nothing to you in the long run. Half of them are useless, the other 2 sell you things you have no use for because by the time you really get into the game, you have everything you need.

The inventory system is better now than it was before, but not by much. Exploration is there, but since most planets are just reskins of others with a little bit of variety thrown in, It wasen't immersive. It was bland.

If you loved Terraria, theres a great chance you'll hate this.
