immersive visual storytelling, stunning 2-D graphics, challenging gameplay, dozens of achievements and secrets, and so much more! In my opinion, this is one of the best Metroid-vanias of the decade. We can all accept that Deepnest sucks, and losing all your money at times can be infuriating, but the awe of exploring the vast world of hallownest and the satisfaction of beating a tough boss makes it all worth it. just be sure to take your time once in a while, and enjoy the scenery.

This game deserves every bit of praise it gets! I love the art style, The gameplay is great, It works for people like me who have crappy computers! I highly recommend this game to any fan of the 2-D platformer game genre.

They use the term "uncompromising" quite a bit in this game series' entries.

Now I know why.
This game tests your limits, and it's great. Every time you log on you discover a new way to live and a new way to die. great game.

a repetative, confused, uncreative game. I can admit I haven't played much of this game, but there is a reason for that. maybe there is a great game in here somewhere, and i just haven't found it, But I just cannot recommend this, especially at ten dollars. I got this game at a discount and I feel relatively cheated. worth 2.00, maybe 3.00 dollars if it ever drops that low.

Let's start with the art design, it's incredible. Every setting is beautiful. You can really feel the effects of the plague setting into the forest. Through the art direction and the cutscenes, you really feel that everything around you has a real history. If you don't feel the need to slow down and soak in the scenery, this game suppies a wide range of abilities and upgrades with a managable learning curve. Many of the challenges require a combonation of skill, logic, and precision. In conclusion, This game is one of my "holy trinity of 2-D platformers" which consists of this, cuphead, and hollow knight. if you like these other games, you will likely love this one.

this is a great game, for what it is. and it is a 3-D platformer indie game that you can knock out in a day. I would say that the average person could complete this game in about 3 to 4 hours. the follwing are some good parts of this game.
- nice and appealing style
- tons of special levels to unlock
- lots of replayability
- groundwork for great sequel/DLC

the following are some things that could use improvement
- boss fights lack diversity (and are very similar to the dragon fight in super mario odyssey)
- scrolling levels can be a nightmare in this game
- expensive (as it is)

keep in mind that I got this game on sale for $3.00. for this price it is worth every cent, but as it is ($8.00) I would wait for the next time it drops to this price again.
