And I wondered why people praised this game so much, well, now I know why.

My first Deus Ex game was Human Revolution and it became one of my favorite games. With that said I never got to play the original Deus Ex until now and I can finally say my life is complete.

How can a game from 2000 be so advanced for its time? The presentation, the narrative, the characters. the enviroment, the music, all the little details. All of this makes Deus Ex not only a great game but a masterpiece.

And I almost forgot about the gameplay... I would say that it is the most important and the most refined aspect from the game, it's what it makes Deus Ex. Sneaking behind a guard and knocking him down silently, finding new paths through the ventilation vents, upgrading yourself and using augmentations, all of it is worth it.

Before I considered DXHR to be one of my favorite games(and I still do) but now that I've played the original I can see how HR turned out so great.
