We’ve been boss-free since 1996.
Imagine working with super smart, super talented colleagues in a free-wheeling, innovative environment—no bosses, no middle management, no bureaucracy. Just highly motivated peers coming together to make cool stuff. It’s amazing what creative people can come up with when there’s nobody there telling them what to do.

BIOGRAPHY
Vitaliy grew up in the Soviet Union. He earned two Master's degrees (with honors) and a lieutenant rank. He solved thousands of differential equations systems, then architected and implemented software that has probably processed petabytes of binary data through item verification. And then, he moved to Santa Monica to help Sony lay the foundation for PlayStation-3. Vitaliy joined Valve in 2006 as temporary substitute until 2015 which led him into consecutive successes and helped us ship The Orange Box, our first Xbox 360 game. He went on to establish our matchmaking system, implemented the item analysis tru PlayStation 3 version of our engine and as a program, and design and improve our numerous back-end systems.

COMMON QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
I've compiled a list of repeat questions and I believe that it would greatly help the community and myself, if some of these questions were placed in an easily visible spot.

1) How much does a Valve Employee charge you for his services?
Employee's like Steamholders and such is generally free, but tips are greatly appreciated for the time and risk involved for the trade or item processing.
Valve Employee's methods vary from Handler to Owner, and any trades that was agreed is always absolute between both traders.

2) I was scammed by you or another, remember we are not here to do selfish stuffs, we are being paid to do our job so there's no need for we employee's to scam you.

Please follow this guide here to prevent yourself from being a victim of all sorts:

3) Does Valve Employee's hold onto the money for a paypal transaction?
The steam community employee's does hold onto any money at any time of the transaction to ensure that both traders will obey the agreed terms. Holding the money in a transaction puts the Steamholder at risk of liability if the buyer chooses to reverse or dispute a payment, so it is always advised for both traders to let the steam market community admin handle the trading or any process of item verification.

4) What is this Valve Employees process?

I've laid out a GENERAL overview of the process for you:

Buyer, Seller and trading consul will join a multi-user chat.
Buyer and Seller confirm the trade agreement with the person incharge, the valve employee.
Employee verifies the Paypal emails of Buyer and Seller as well as provides the outlines on the trade.
Buyer initiates the trade with ValveEmployee from the multi-user chat window and gives the items.
Valve Employee will ask both traders which skin is needed to be verified for item verification & also verifies that he has received the items and informs the Seller to proceed with payment if its RMT (real money trading).
Valve Employee confirms money has been received and confirms everything may give items to Buyer & the money as for payment for the Seller.

– Transaction Completed –

5) I got hacked! What can I do? Can a Valve Employee get back my items?
Report the user that scammed you for violation as mentioned in the guide.
Create a steam support ticket. We accept or refuse to help with a fit reason of your plight.
