Only play this if you have nostalgia for the original game.
I played a tiny bit back on the sms and disliked the controls and overall difficulty that felt kinda cheap most of the time.
In this new DX version they have options to make the game be less slippery, but you also can't progress through the entire game, (they even tell you this when enabling it). Having to constantly switch back and forth got old quick.
Kinda wish the DX mode would adjust a lot of the cheap enemy placement and or difficulty but it doesn't.
It's cool you can switch between the sms and DX version on the fly. The new music tracks were done well though.
