it's a tad barebones right now. but i hope it will get more fleshed out in the future. the multiplayer is amazing!

the game feels much more complex than the previous installment. your available moveset per weapon is basically doubled with the introduction of magic/mana. i love it so far!

too many hours and so much money wasted...

first things first, like everyone has mentioned, the art direction is amazing and so is the music, it's dark, gritty and a few tracks with vocals were sublime.
now, on to the bad stuff.
i was sold by the free prologue for sure. if only the full game was as good as that. i mean it does include the prologue which i got to play again and basically sped run the thing. and the rest was such a huge letdown to be honest. and i guess it was supposed to make sense with the game title? the story was weak and all over the place. the ending left so much to be desired. the few minutes before the end disrupted the flow of the game. why was i allowed to control different characters? some grammar mistakes here and there also took away the immersion. it's sorta sad to be honest, i really wanted this game to be good. and i only found out about the prologue a couple months ago. imagine the people backing the project since 2018 and waited till now. sorry guys.

yea, it's like that.

supergiant games hit it out of the park again with their 4th game. a roguelike with an actual story that progresses as you die, repeatedly. all the characters are beautiful and uniquely designed, the voice acting is impeccable. should take you around 100 hours (give or take depending on how hardcore you are) to complete the entire thing and unlock all the achievements.

waiting for their next DLC :D or maybe next game.

after the many f-ed ups by evil mojo, the game was sorta dead for me, some characters were imba, some had poor designs and playstyles. now, things have changed for the better. would recommend, but play with some friends.

edit: no, just no. it's bad now (again). the bugs, the lag, the lack of care to balancing the champions, and still after 4 years, the CRASHES. people crash and you'll end up playing with bots all the time. it's just so damn stupid. i left and came back for this game annually, this cycle stops now.

still crashing as usual. avoid this game like the plague.
