Not usually a fan of roguelikes, but I've been having a blast so far. Great game

Good game, had a great time

This is the kind of game where you either love it or you hate it. This isn't the kind of game that gives you a mission or a big overarching story, it just plops you down in the middle of space and says, "Have fun, bye." You choose the pace you advance, you pick what missions you take on, or what you want to do in this big expansive galaxy. I've played this game for hundreds of hours now and I've enjoyed most of it.

Pros: This game is immense, with billions of stars you're never going to run out of things to explore. The graphics are great and the views in this game are breathtaking (I've taken soooo many screenshots for desktop backgrounds). This is a nice relaxing game if you want to just fly around and chill out for a while, maybe take on a delivery mission or go mine some planet's rings for a while, just put on some music or a podcast and just fly around for a while.

Cons: Like a lot of people have said, the grind is real. After over 200 hours I am only just getting to some of the core stuff in the game and am able to get out of the bubble of human space. It takes a long time to find the materials you need to get certain essential upgrades if you ever want to get out there and start exploring. There's also a lot of waiting, waiting to dock, waiting to jump, waiting to upgrade, and it adds up after a while. This game requires a lot of patience and if you don't commit to this game you won't really have a good time.

All in all I'd recommend it for someone who wants something like Truck Sim but in space. The graphics are great, the game is immersive, and it's my go-to to just relax and unwind after a long day. It's definitely not for everyone, but you can decide if it's right for you
