Don't get me wrong—this is a really fun game. The devs just decided to release a new game instead of fixing all the bugs with this one. There's no auto save, achievements are bugged in multiplayer, and the game servers will still crash if too many players build too many structures. Save your money and buy the new one, or don't support devs that don't support their games.

The sequel is better in every way and worth the same price, so I'd recommend skipping this unless you really want to play through the storyline, which imho isn't worth it.

For such a lame game, this is super addictive and surprisingly replayable. You have a choice between this and better, similar games, like Mullet Mad Jack. But you play this to truly turn your brain off and let time pass. And why not? It's decent, even at full price. Buy it and don't regret it until your significant other finds it.

One of my top 3 favorite FromSoft games, fight me.

This story is incredible, and it makes every other aspect of the game so much better. There's so much at stake, so much raw emotion, and such an incredibly dissonant tone that it's hard not to fall in love with this game. There are no throwaway missions or story arcs, and in fact no wasted lines of dialogue. Everything is perfect. Plus, there are 3 different endings, each of which change how some story missions play out, to where each playthrough truly feels like a new playthrough.

The worst part of this game is that it's just a little short, especially for a FromSoft game, but that just makes me want more.
