really nice game in terms of alt-his, but lacks the skill ceiling of paradox's other titles. kind of lacking if you want a historical experience imo, hoi3 does does that better. like other paradox games, you're going to have to deal with their dlc policy and frankly asinine policy regarding achievements.

Welcome to Mount and Blade, where you spend your first 30 minutes getting rekt by naked bandits until your army is powerful enoguh to defeat them. Pledge allegiance to a king, and spend yet another 30 minutes getting rekt by Lords. Found a new Kingdom, and get ground to a paste by angry Nords/Swadians/Rhodoks/sarrandids/Vaegirs/Khergits. Then get rekt by naked bandits as you rebuild your army.
