I hate this so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much it is unreal.

Fun to play and try different teams out. Mods are starting to come into play for liveries, drivers, etc. Hopefully we get some tracks and audio bits too, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Certainly a good pickup on a sale weekend.

Guns are fun. Playing with friends is fun. The story is so-so but it's enough to engage.

343 finally got it right. This port of Reach is very close to the title release. While the game was not my favorite from the Xbox lineage, it is still enjoyable to play. If they handle the remaining titles like they have reach, Halo MCC will finally be the success that it has yearned for since it's poor release. I am most looking forward to H2A and H3, and I will update this review once those titles come out. As an 18 year veteran of Halo, I was excited to get this title and I have been enjoying customs with my friends as well as firefight. The pricepoint is better than I thought it would be too, grab this game if you've got the spending money and want to know how Halo was in the glory days.

It does a great job paying homage to the old titles. Slaughtering the minions of hell is as satisfying as it was in the 90s. The music is lackluster, I'd advise spinning up the Slayer, Megadeth and AIC if you want to hit all those notes from Doom. The carnage is in full force. Get this game if you have an FPS itch to scratch. You won't be disappointed.

Holy ♥♥♥♥, the Social Club constantly wanting to log in and making me jump through captcha hurdles is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare. I just want to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Went from cheery and comical to dark and shocking within moments.

Solid game overall, but some of the mechanics leave a lot to be desired. With some quality of life mods via NMM the experience is much more enjoyable. Really enjoyed the questlines tied to followers, lot of character and backstory to be learned. Latter end and post completion are really lack luster. You'll get a solid 100 hours out of this game.
