buggy, if you have the wrong drives you crash, if you operate in safe mode it increases load times, and they have the balls to charge you an additional 10 dollars for this.

XCOM for beginners

Some points :

1. Very few missions have a time management mechanic, so can easily wait out the not-so-smart AI and just overwatch them to death
2. Classes need to be balanced - most classes get a one shot mechanic with the right gear set up, making even the final boss a joke.
3. Side missions are boring, rinse and repeat except with broken (enemy and yours) modifiers that really break up the immersion from the story
4. Story isn't bad, but some random elements of love and betrayal? Definitely didn't see those coming

In all, not worth 60 bucks, but fun to play in short bursts.

Ok game with a average card mechanic. As others had mentioned, the side quests are utterly terrible and monotonous. Fun to complete during a quarantine, but somewhat unforgettable. Also quite a few bugs with achievements and gameplay - nothing game breaking, but quite annoying. Would like to see game expanded past "kill these 5 enemies with these 3 characters" which might add replayability. Also, bosses are entirely too easy (at least on normal - some characters like Rei can easily decimate a boss in two shots). I recommend if you're in dire need of some turn based strategy.
