Long time Runescape player trying this out, Took a little bit of time to get used to the game play but so far it has been a refreshing spin on the MMO genre for me!

Having a blast being a noob again!

I recommend giving it a shot & give the game a good few hours to grow on you !

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of those one of a kind games that just show up one day, latches onto you and won't let you go, you'll find yourself coming back to it again even if, like myself, you have played through the game multiple times and hunted all the achievements.

I love the games story telling the most, its setting, its combat, soundtrack & memorable characters pulls you into this new world and makes you want to explore and experiment for hours, the skilling system can be leveled in many different ways giving you countless different options for you to decide how you want to play the game. The driving i feel is one of the worst parts of the game, you expect it to play just like a GTA game but it just simply does not, it is clunky and simply not enjoyable imo.

The state it was released back in late 2020 was also quite a problem for a majority of players especially on consoles. While the core game itself was excellent, it was clearly released without proper care and attention. I had a blast playing it on PC myself, despite small frequent bugs. It has always looked great and I believe it ran at 60fps+ most of the time.
I get why a lot of people decided to skip the game altogether. I don’t blame them for it either, especially on lower end hardware or consoles as it could be quite demanding to run, sometimes unplayable.

Two years have passed since then and the developers have owned up to their mistakes at launch, they have made significant progress in stabilizing and updating the game, as it stands in 2022, it is in a much nicer and stable state to play.

I highly recommend anyone to try the game out, even just for the story itself !

Became a Trimmed Completionist in 2022. playing for over 15 years total.
Even having "completed" the game there is still TONS of goals to go for and things to do!

This game will really suck you in for a solid few years as a new player, especially if you find a good friend group within the game. The game is very simple in its core & allows you to play in any weird way that you like!
Don't be discouraged by the extreme hate from the Old School Runescape community, give them both a try and just have fun!

I have made a lot of good memories and made good friends through playing Runescape including meeting my now irl wife & moving country entirely.

[REVIEW UPDATE 2019] (excuse my spelling and grammar & strap in for a long review)

One of, if not the only game i will leave a review for because i like it so much !
This game has continued to grow on me despite playing since release.

There has been LOTS of big updates which has really flushed out the game and gives you countless reasons to keep playing.

The games Player base has tripled maybe even quadrupled since release.
Now daily having 800/900 and even 1000+ players on at a time,
filling up most of the servers. which is great!

==== WHAT I LOVE ====

There are a lot of different people to socialise with, have fun, make friends or getting help.
One of the best updates, Community workshop integration.
Allows for some serious player customisation with the use of Custom player models. With literally THOUSANDS of player models uploaded by the player base, and even more daily.
You can look how you want, be whoever you want to be and stand out from the crowd!

The development team are constantly working on the game and fixing any major issues ASAP.

The latest HUGE update (7.0.0)
Added a whole new redesigned Plaza area
( which is where you will spend a majority of your time)

It is much more compact now but still plenty of room, enough to spend a good few hours exploring everything.
It is filled to the brim so there is plenty to do there.

There are a boat load of stores to spend your hard earned units on.
for player customisation, condo furniture or player accessories(held objects)

SO where do you get units to buy everything?

Well pretty much every type of game/minigames gives you way to earn money and the better you are the more money you will make !

You have repeating minigames on a designated open platform that everyone can take part in and try win, such as target practice, snowball fights, balloon popping and more!

You also have other game area's in the plaza such as;

- bowling which can take 4 people and integrated media players so you can bowl with your friends and listen to some music!

- laser tag, like the name suggests it's just like real life laser tag, two teams fight against one another in some laser warfare!

- casino where you can try your luck with already earned units and safely gamble for fun, with slot machines, poker, blackjack, spin to win wheels, the casino is a fun place to try get lucky

- arcade, currently a work in progress but will soon be released featuring classing arcade games like ski-ball, basketball games, whack a mole, air hockey and much much more

- trivia, again like the name suggests you can take part in trivia quizzes alone or with others to test your knowledge and earn money!

- typing derby, the last thing in the plaza specifically that you can earn money with, this is all about typing accurately but as fast as you can. the better you are the more units you will earn as always.

there are also a few more things to do like the Theatre to watch video's with large groups of people,

a rideable roller coaster & ferris wheel

burried tresure events and photoshoot spots to find around the map

As i said, this was a HUGE update but the best so far.

Along with everything we have went over this update ALSO added almost 400 steam Achievements and in game experience(levels) for everything that you can do.

So there is literally hundreds of goals to set yourself, and a lot of these take some real skill and dedication.

The plaza its self, along with games inside the plaza and other minigames all have their own achievements and exp(levels)
which can unlock you unique-
cosmetics, held items, trophies, badges and furniture

There are a lot of these new unique items and they all take a long amount of time to unlock them.
These are my personal favourite additions and what i have been trying to unlock and collect as much as i can!

=== Lets wrap it up ===

There is plenty plenty more i could talk about but i will just glaze over the rest as this review is long enough.

There are condos(houses) you can decorate to your hearts desire

More flushed out games you can play-
Minigolf, Ball race, virus, zombie massacre, little crusaders, planet panic
(with more to come in the future such as racing these are some of the best ways to earn units/money)

====== WHAT I DON'T LIKE =======

Despite all there good there is some bad, not a lot but some
Mainly due to the HUGE new update which is to be expected
Remember this is an EARLY ACCESS game too.

1- there are some instances where you can crash or your game will freeze
2- media players can rarely be bugged and stop working
3- random texture issues which makes them lose resolution
4- not all achievements are currently working or possible

Apart from that there's not too much more issues, maybe slight bugs in games but nothing serious enough to mention.

In conclusion, I suggest every single person picks this game up!

the graphics are absolutely beautiful & its seriously a cheap price for the quality and dedication from the developers.

so so so worth the price!
as i said i have around 700± Hours played already and that will keep rising!

Please try this game out and you'll soon see what i mean!
it may not be for everyone but it is certainly perfect for almost everyone!
