i want to say i loved playing this but the reality of it is it made me want to pee myself and vomit, not that i did.

I'm gonna be honest, I dislike this game. I dont hate it, but I dont love it either. Story's rehash from FO3, the guns look weird in many instances, I'm not a fan of the level system which feels super stripped down from FO3 and New Vegas, Perks are meh at worst, the game feels like a slog to go through, role playing is SUPER on the back burner (rest in peach speech builds), performance is still ♥♥♥♥♥ for a 2015 game, looks awful and muddy 90% of the time- I could go on and on but pretty much it's so painfully mediocre for me at best and the most soulless stripped down Fallout game at worst.
I wanted to try to like it but after 116 hours of nothing, I just felt like I needed to stop.
Mod all you want, mods aren't gonna fix my sour feelings.

I'd be all over this with "haha nostalgia!!" but seriously it's turned into a gatcha game with no players on like- at all.
NA server was completely empty, there's like zero customization, the prices for items have been jacked up which makes it seem like you HAVE to purchase RT to get any good customization, it still looks old and crusty- I wouldn't say it's terrible for gameplay but rather it's terrible under who manages the poor game.
As much as I love this game I simply cannot recommend it in its current state.

Amazing story, characters, game mechanics, and options that are inline with being an rpg
Highly configurable, as per usual with games like it
I recommend getting a few simple fixes and playing mostly vanilla before going off with mods !
Take this over FO3 and FO4
