Fun for maybe 3 hours than just tedious. As you may observe building cost scales exponentially. TBH it scales like it's got micro transactions for a premium currency at egregious rates.

My favorite part is when he said "It's maraudin time" and than proceeded to live in the shadow of the great war for 70 years.

Easily one of the best VR games available. Active modding community, and devs that keep on giving. If you already spent hundreds on a VR it'd honestly be quite strange to not to give this game a try.

Some day I'll learn to stop preordering things.

22% positive at time of review

I choose to believe the serious problems will be fixed in the next month.
But battlefield 5 showed us how important launch day is. See you next time with another overpriced preorder.

Well it's been a few months and it's 18% positive reviews.

A fun experience with catchy songs and enough self awareness to give you a item dowser from the start. The last ability is absolutely miserable tho.

Good game. Wish it had a bigger following.

I've bought so many copies of this game to gift out.
This is actually the reason I originally got steam.

10/10 would commit to a life time of PC gaming again.

Also how did my hours on record go down?

Hunt: Hoedown is perhaps the only game I've played where "every bullet counts" is more than a cliche advertising claim. Described by a friend as a "better cowboy game than red dead redemption." Incredibly satisfying gun play, obtainable and enjoyable events, Hilarious diplomacy, and tense standoffs. Just make sure to bring some friends along to avoid randoms.

Perhaps the real Hoedown was the friends we made along the way.

Bad game design all around. No reason for specifics when you can look at just about anything and see the problem.

Fundamentally lacking and limiting

Inspired by pikmin and infants cartoons but only as exciting as the latter. I loved pikmin for quick combat, puzzles and a progress based off of new pikmin types. Pikmin 3 adding progression as you collect new commanders as well as multitasking potential. If you hated the combat multitasking and puzzles this game is for you.
Combat doesn't feel very interactive so much as like a set it and forget it, which is to say it lacks micro. The day night cycle doesn't seem to offer anything as there seems to be no limit on days. when it's night you just turn around click a button and go right back to what you were doing, or don't since the night monsters only seem to target the player. The only real risk at night is a night monster appearing close in front of you as you move. Throwing more than a short distance requires standing still making it feel dangerously slugish. There's no lock on or charge attack as near as I can tell. Multitasking seems to be removed by design thanks to severe unit limitations and the fact that the commanders seem to need to be together frequently for puzzles. But hey the art is subjectively good (I hate it personally) and you can learn about some 12 year olds daddy issues I guess.
Went ahead and finished the game in case it's babying out important features. Guess combat can be mashing the A button if you want it to be.
