I WILL NOT TL;DR THIS. READ THE ENTIRE THING BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT.

So to the people complaining this game is terrible and you should only buy it for the soundtrack, I've got a few words to say:

*THE GAME ITSELF IS SUPER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SHORT. IT LASTS ABOUT 5-10 MINUTES PER CLASS IF YOU "MASTERED" THE MECHANICS OF THE GAME.

First off, yes. The soundtrack is phenomenal and is pretty damn straightforward badass. But once you actually get the grip of the game (trust me it's super easy) then it's quite entertaining for a little bit. If anyone had actually payed any attention to the gameplay itself they'd notice that at the first wave of the game the instructions are written on the floor, askewd.

In case you're really lazy: Spacebar to hack your foes (does not hack all of the enemies, but most of them!), disabling their navigation system (which causes them to wobble a bit) and their weapon system (aka they won't shoot you). While the enemies are relatively accurate, everything in this game is random. One round you can survive hell, the next you'll die within one bullet. Your hacking system can get jammed (randomly, too) and all in all it's a surreal experience. You move around with the WASD and it's pretty damn smooth, too. You left-click to melee attack and right-click to aim with your laser (each class has a different amount of laser clips that replenish each new round). Once aimed, your character slows down and that's when you left-click to release it. It has to be on the center of the enemies or it will not hit, so it is tricky but somewhat useful. Do NOT forget it slows you down.

According to what I've seen from the gameplay, Wanderer seems to be the most imbalanced class out of all 4 (they are Hardboiled, Rogue, Wired and Wanderer).

You wonder what are the differences? Plain and simple: Hardboiled is tankier than the rest, with an extra armor reservation you last longer. Rogue has more PLC cells and the same level of hacking as Hardboiled, but less armor (not by much). More PLC cells means more laser shots. Wired has the least PLC cells (except for Wanderer) but it offers the most hacking (meaning it is the most influential and the most efficient/powerful - probably lasts longer, too.)

Wanderer is kind of a tricky class, because at first it seems to have no benefits - the armor isn't too grand (again, matches with the rest), and you only have ONE PLC cell! Plus, your hacking isn't even that great. But when you look sideways, it has a text saying "MOVE FASTER."; that's right, Wanderer is the fastest character in the game (in this game, it means a lot.)

Stats (in case my block of text hurt your eyes):
- Hacking = how efficient your hacks are, affects the lockdown on enemies, the length of the hack and so forth..
- Armor = how tanky you are and how many hits can you take before going down.
- PLC Cells = the amount of laser shots you have for your cannon (R-click + L-click)
* WANDERER EXCLUSIVE - Move faster.

Your classes upgrade at waves 3, 5, 7. At wave 9 you win the event.

So while this game seems pretty linear and bland at first, it can be somewhat fun every now and then to just wobble in there and blast away. The core gameplay is very simple and quite addictive, so you SHOULD NOT listen to the general reviews and ACTUALLY give it a go as a game. Plus, you get your money back via cards (if you bought it on sale like I did) so you might as well.. right?

Overall I'd give this game a very solid 5/10, maybe a 6/10 for the cool soundtrack. I just wish it had an actual menu ( o_o)/

TL;DR = 8/10, has a few issues with the way the matchmaking and tutorial works but has great graphics and smooth gameplay with a big variety to keep you busy - AND IT'S JUST CLOSED BETA!

Dirty Bomb®, by definition, is what F2P FPS games should be like nowadays - let me rephrase that:
It's what every FPS should be like nowadays.

*Let me just say that I have played the CBT back in the Nexon Launcher days and the game was still good, but just stranded with a bit more bugs and less features than now. Good for you, Splash Damage! I also have not played Brink nor Wolfensten:ET so I can't and won't compare it to both of them.*

Let's begin with the Pros of it, shall we?
  • Beautiful graphics, designed using Unreal engine so they are not too GPU intensive. I myself am running a GeForce GTX 650 (a nearly 3 year old card) with an intel i5-4460 3.2x4GHz CPU and 4x2 RAM and I can run it on High with around 40-50 FPS (personally I choose medium, remove some of the unncessary lightings and motion blurs and enjoy the show!) and it's pretty smooth.
  • Sounds are well put through in the game design, you can vividly hear footsteps and listen to gunfires, mine proximity and so on.
  • Overall gaming experience is clean, smooth and sharp; which might contrast a little with one another but it's a good thing. The colors are mixed with a balance that gives your eye not too much trouble, and the world looks great within the character boundaries to a point where you can both see enemies and enjoy the.. scenery view.
  • Actual gameplay is very decent! In fact, it's better than many other games. The recoil system is pretty good, you can hit most guns from afar (for instance weapons aren't restricted to a system where "why are you spraying? you won't reach him" kind of thing, so it's more balanced and user-friendly), the variety of different guns and classes is astounding. You can pick up to 3 classes to have (which is average, in terms of selection) at one time and you can always change them inbetween matches. There are over 15 (maybe 20?) different roles and characters, each with different abilities, loadouts and so forth. My personal favorite is Vassili, the sniper-est sniper out of all the snipers.
  • I have yet to find any actual bugs in the game, which is amazing to me, really. Then again I haven't played much of it, but I do plan on!

Now off with the Cons, let's go (list seems bigger, but they are less influential than the Pros)
  • Servers are a bit hard to find; basically I've pressed Quick-Play a few times and got into empty servers/with 1 or 2 people, because there's no actual "dedicated servers" in the meaning of official game servers. It's rooms that people either create or populate and so, you can enter custom games where it shows you the ones available. They are also not always very lag-free, as I have found rooms in the European category (as I'm from Europe) with 860 ping [but those are just a few, really] and right below them, some with 70 or 130. A relatively important issue but doesn't affect the game as much as you'd think, you can still find packed servers quickly that don't offer too much lag and play! It'll probably fix, too, since it's a CBT game that just got into Steam from Nexon (which was pretty stranded back then.)
  • The game's tutorial is very. very. very basic. It doesn't teach you about the modes too much, nor about all the classes or about different features in the game. It's not a big problem because catching up is pretty rapid, I just hope that Splash Damage could work it out to be more.. rich with information.
  • Unbalanced matchmaking (?) - as a Level 1 with barely any experience in the game I've been put against Level 19s, 20s, 5s and 11s all in one match. Despite the unbalanced matchmaking, though, you can still work as a team and/or beat higher levels because the gameplay itself is rather balanced in terms of overpowering opponents.
  • Getting lost is relatively easy for beginners - again, this rapidly changes and you learn how to adapt very fast, but experienced players can and probably will abuse their knowledge against you in terms of how to dodge your shots better or just overall game knowledge is a bit lacking, but can be resolved with wobbling around like I did.
  • The community is very small; f*** that ♥♥♥♥! Give this game some time after CBT and watch it explode. Amazing game and it should and will be popular and stay amazing.

All in all this game presents what it came here to do in a very smooth, sharp fashion. It brings to the table what FPS games were meant to be.
Fast-paced? Check. Balanced? Check. Fun? Check. You can destroy objects? Check. You can kill someone that died to get extra points. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED? FINISH HIM.

Get this game as soon as it goes live, or if you can, get a CBT Key because - damn it's f***ing worth it. 10/10 -IGN

    * seriously tho I'd rate it a very solid 8/10 with the way it's looking now, giving it a 9.5/10 potential if the slight cons are to be fixed.

If you want to see a funny little blooper I had while playing this game, check this video out! (excuse the terrible quality, it was a one time thing)

CS:GO 평가
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the most competitive MMOFPS games out there.

You choose to play either as a Terrorist (your main objective is to plant a bomb and make it to detonation) or a Counter-Terrorist (your main objective is to defuse said bomb). You can also win by eliminating the other team*

* = if the Terrorists plant a bomb and the Counter-Terrorists eliminate them all, the Counter-Terrorists must then defuse the bomb or they will not win.

There is a huge variety of game maps to load from, both competitively and casually; a ton of different mode such as Arms Race where you switch weapons after each kill, Deathmatch where you randomly spawn at different locations with different weapons, Bomb Quest, and so on. The game's variety in terms of weaponry is also phoenomenal.

The community is live and kicking with well over 100,000 players online at any given time (matchmaking lasts roughly 10 seconds to 2 minutes in terms of finding a match) and you can party with up to four friends at any given time to play a full premade team or you can go solo.

The developers (Valve) listen to the community about bugs, glitches, and the game is well polished and can run on most machines* due to the improved and enhanced Source Engine. It will still look fairly decent on low settings!
* = (seriously, I run the game on a nVidia GeForce 9400 GT and I get 30-40 FPS with low settings and resolution which is very much playable)
** = (I recently purchased a new computer featuring an intel i5-4460 and an nVidia GeForce GTX 650 so I can run the game on 120-130 FPS on max settings and resolution)

The company also constantly updates the game and there is a workshop in which the community can submit weapon, map and other content designs and so on, and Valve takes note of such content. CS:GO is very balanced and by all means worth the 20$ you will pay for it.
I have friends who played the game for well over 300 hours (some for 800, some for 600) and we never get bored :)

Personally I bought the CS 4-Pack and unlocked all Counter-Strike titles (for nostalgia's sake!) when it was on sale for 8$ total - but if you can't wait, it's definitely worth it.

10/10 would flash again.

By far one of the greatest games I've ever played.

Graphics are amazing and top-notch, and they're not even GPU intensive! I'm running a nVidia GeForce 9400 GT and I operate the game on Low settings, getting around 30 FPS while still having mesmerizing views and gorgeous graphics.

The gameplay itself is fluid, intense, action-packed and realistic! You have two bars of defenses: Health and Shield. Your shield recharges over time while your health can only be restored with a medic nearby and/or within a check-point.

There are several classes to choose from at the moment, which is a lot for Open Beta. Currently there's a Medic, that is a close-quarter combat type of soldier using a shotgun; he's able to heal and resurrect teammates. There's a Sniper, with either a bolt-action or an automated rifle that is very smooth, he's able to plant C4 explosives and so forth. There's an Assault, with an assault rifle and the ability to refill ammo both for himself and his teammates; and there's a Heavy that I haven't personally experienced yet (at the time of writing this review)

Daily, fluid and in-depth missions with plenty to do - this game requires a big load of co-op action while playing missions, and in Multiplayer it is unbelievably fluid as well. The game is realistic in so many senses I cannot even describe.

- IT'S FREE, WHY NOT TRY IT OUT FOR YOURSELF? 10/10 would play

Loadout!, in all its glory, comes down to blasting ♥♥♥♥ and doing it with style.
There are more than enough guns to choose from, with three "distinctive" looking characters to select from, you just.. do whatever you want! The game is so graphic, it's not even funn-OH WAIT, YES IT IS. IT'S EVEN MORE FUNNY.

Try it out. It's free, so why the heck not?!

Team Fortress 2 is a really fast-paced, action-packed first-person shooter and I personally enjoy every moment of it ~ the cartoony graphics with the lovable classes makes it a fantastic game for everyone to enjoy. Just get on with it, and never stop pushing the carts*

* = TF2 joke.
