A worthy sequel to the first instalment!

I'm a big fan of how they made every faction unique to the core, and the economic changes to planet development.
Looking forwards to what modders can do with this solid gem.

The interfaces are fairly clear, and while it takes a bit of time to get used to all the information, it's... Surprisingly smooth. A lot of thought went into the UX, and I approve greatly.

The orbital trajectories are somewhat of a mixed bag for me. While I enjoy the extra layer of strategy, I've often found myself so busy zoomed-in and micromanaging worlds and fleets that I don't notice the new phase-lanes being connected to my worlds. A notification or warning that it's about to happen would be nice, but it's honestly a minor nitpick because of the amazing quality-of-life improvements this game offers.

If you're a fan of the 4X genre, then this is an instant-recommendation from me, I'll likely sink a few hundred hours into this.

9/10, would turtle a vital chokepoint with two starbases again.

This game has some amazing depth, and so far has been a total blast to play.

Really disappointing they forced PSN months after release. Now I can't play with friends from various countries anymore.

The game is absolutely gorgeous and extremely atmospheric, the gameplay is however a bit repetitive and slow paced. The gameplay loop of searching for clues and fighting the same 3 bosses over and over again grows old real fast. Fights with other players tend to end up in massive campfests if you don't meet each other out in the field and can stretch you real thin with two parties playing the waiting game. The PVE is generally not that engaging either.

I'd give it a 6.5/10, by sheer virtue of the level design, gorgeous graphics, and unique setting. The gameplay does feel like it leaves a lot to be desired however.

Definitely one of the better games around, grab it if you can! you won't regret the co-op fun you'll have with friends.

Love it, game is fun alone or with friends and on higher settings it can be really challenging to actually complete missions.

What's there to complain about? it's free, workshop supported, fun...

Love this game, it's modding community, and the general vibe to it all.

A bit too much DLC however.
