Hiya, nice to have you here.

Gaming has been my hobby since I was…… well about 6 yrs old. The first video game I still have remembrance of is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone( published in 2001 by EA). The game couldnot be said of great. It lacks innovation and some of the elements are rather crappy. But I can still remember the excitement I felt while the famous scenes in HP novels were on the screen and I aint just a reader but a adventurer. I never have the chance to complete the game but it always has a room in my heart together with the tens of happy hours I spent on it. And the snails are still my nightmare.

Although I have been playing video games for more than 15 yrs, I cannot say Im a hardcore gamer. I never beat a hardcore action game like any Ninja Gaiden( always stuck in a level after thousands of death and the death of my controller), collect all the hidden treasures in Mario, or excel in a popular RTS game. As I grow older, I tend to be more likely attracted by the story n atmosphere of a game rather than delving into the combat system( Im not saying systems are not important for games, some poor combat or looting mechanism can really ruin the experience of a potential great game). Now Im more into story-rich games like RPG( especially those inspired by isometric CRPG) and Action AVG. Compared to honing my skills Im more willing to get immersed in the game world and try to dig the rich lore beneath.
