I never thought that I would spend so much time playing a dating sim, and yet here we are. Granted, this isn't exactly your usual game of this sort either.

This game is absoultely hilarious, it's filled to the brim with pop-culture references, dark humour and some downright crazy ideas. The artwork is actually so gorgeous - bright colours and crisp outlines. And the characters are all charming in their own... peculiar ways.

On the other hand, the humour and self-aware irony in the game hardly makes it easy. It can be quite challenging to get the hang of what each character is after at first, so when you do finally get that prom date you want you feel a genuine sense of accomplishment.

My favourite thing about it, however, must be that it is an inexhaustible well of creative and funny dialogue and story, based on the choices you make. It may feel repetitive after a while, especially if you're a completionist going after some of the ridiculous achievements, but each new outcome you get yields results just as fun as those you got during your first playthrough.

Bonus points for the multiplayer option, as well as the fact that the other players' endings, events and outcomes will also be added to your own (I guess that's some relief, given that there are over 1500 outcomes in the game). Oh, and lest we forget that the brilliant team behind this game keeps coming out with new events, artwork and music that do not cost a single penny more.

In conclusion, the game is definitely worth it. Give the creators some money because they deserve it & go romance some mythical creatures!
