This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ riot from beginning to end, but beware there are a lot of references to the UK.

It's a pretty good first chapter, worth a shot at least.

Pros:
- Character designs are cute.
- Dialogue for Rambley is pretty good and quite funny. I love his VA.
- Atmosphere is pretty spooky (not super spooky).
- Lighting/shadows is pretty good, which I assume is helped by the engine, adding to the spook.
- Free, lol

Cons:
- Models and especially animations are a meh, but this is likely owed to the nature of the being indie. Kinda stiff and not very scary.
- Final chase was also pretty meh, mostly due to the mentioned meh animations.

Ignoring the RTX performance, the game is far too reliant on tricky shots and lining yourself up juuuuust right to complete challenges. And failure usually resets the challenge completely or causes death, making retries very tedious. And this was only in the first few rooms since I stopped playing after a while. Can't imagine how much more BS the later levels are like. Now, if that sounds like it's right up your alley, you do you. But if you're looking for more Portal, this ain't it chief.

Can't play it because of Denuvo or needing a bethesda account. Forget this game.

Can't return it either because it was a gift.

Like the 2 previous games it's a nice mix of easy and difficult puzzles. There were very, very few times when something left me completely with no recourse, barely 1 "WTF do I do know lemme click on everything" kind of things. A great sendoff for the trilogy, even with a pretty open ended ending.

This game isn't very "scary." However, it is very creepy, very disturbing and always has you on edge. The enemies are everywhere and can sometimes appear out of nowhere (but not in a cheap way), and are very disturbing. That's the game in a nutshell. Disturbing. But in a good way. The game aspect of it is closer to Amnesia than Outlast in that there really isn't any set pattern, so there are multiple ways to get out of trouble, for the most part. Jumpscares are almost non-existent.

So good. As an old edventure game player (think Myst and 7th Guest) this one scratched that old itch wonderfully. Beautiful, atmospheric and cleverly written, a joy from start to finish!
