Had a fire breathing dragon attack my fort while a visitor was outside, the dragon proceeded to set the visitor on fire but in doing so started a forest fire. A burning tree collapsed on top of the dragon and knocked it out. sent out the swordsdwarfs out to kill it before it regained consciousness.

Had a legendary mace lord who had one arm missing due to a cyclops attack and was an absolute menace, he would strap his shield onto his back for extra protection and carry a silver mace in his right hand but later died after being outnumbered 30 to 1 in a cavern dweller invasion.

I had 27 children outside my fort carrying logs during a necromancer siege, 2 minutes later I had 27 undead children outside my fort.

I lost three miner dwarfs because they hit a pocket of magma.

during a goblin siege, gobins charged down my corridor where I had a ballista siege machine at the end, the siege operator shot one ballista arrow that went through 6 goblins tearing their limbs off and then fell asleep on the ballista letting the other 34 goblins through.

I once saw a forgotten beast take on 60 frogmen, only 3 survived and were hiding in the trees.

In one fort I was constantly seiged by goblins and my neighbours and yet the most catastrophic event was a tavern brawl (cause some mf couldnt handle his blueberry wine) that resulted in 14 dead and 22 injured

I pissed off the elves and they ambushed my fisherdwarf, he sadly passed away before my military could come up to slaughter them, my men then proceeded to decimate the elves as they were coated in steel compared to the elves who were using wooden weapons and armour

In one fort I somehow had a queen, a duchy and 5 BARONS. they were demanding so much stuff that 4 barons had an "unfortunate accident" with a drawbridge.

I had a group of mercenaries that I used as cannon fodder, after a while they developed PTSD

I dug too deep and was not prepared and I lost my military to the REDACTED, at that point I enacted the dwarfen conscription policy where every dorf was a soldier, many died, lost limbs and some developed severe mental problems as they saw their loved ones die horrifically. and because of our greed we had to wall off half the fort.
