10/10 game. Good story, but doesn't really get you in your feels. The combat is also super fun and satisfying. GOW is also one of the best looking games I have ever played.

After the most recent update, I am no longer able to launch the game... repeatedly, getting an error on Origin launcher saying that the I need to activate a key for the unidentified game. Spent 3 hours trying to fix this and discovered that many people are having the same issue with no solution. Jesus.

This is why no game should require two launchers in order to play. I truly hope they fix the entire battlefield experience next time around. This is terrible.

I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 14. I went through several rounds of chemotherapy; losing all my hair in the process. I was constantly throwing up and in pain. It wasn't long into my chemotherapy that I discovered Smite. I played everyday despite my pain. It was clear that my pain was not going to go away. I was readmitted into the hospital, only for them to tell me that the pain I was experiences was not from the cancer. It was from Smite. In the end, I would much rather go through the cancer process all over again rather than play this game again. GG

Great core game. Realistic rally racing. The DLC nightmare ruins all of that.

Honestly a great game, but it has its ups and downs. I'm going to leave out all the BS that involves the developers or whatever, because that's not what most people care about.

Gameplay: I have never played a game that has combat like this game. Super enjoyable, easy to learn but hard to master. You aren't forced into playing a certain type of way when you buy this game, you are given a ton of different choices in weapons and all have different abilities, there is certain to be at least a few classes that with grab your interest. Another cool aspect about the weapons is that even if down the road you want to switch to something new, you will most likely have enough resources built up that you can upgrade your new weapon to a pretty high level without having to grind more hours just to get more resources.
I love how all the monsters have different abilities and personalities. None of the monsters really feel like they are just copy and pastes. Even when you hit level 12 (HR 12) and unlock the tier two monsters, they will develope new movesets and keep some of the old moves. Tracking the moster is always fun, (expect the quest where you have to discover the unknown tracks.... twice..) and gather resources really never gets old either. By no means did this game feel like a grind to me, even after getting one of the best weapons in my class as well as armour. There really is no excessive material grinding. Money is easy to come back and there is no hard level cap, all a big plus in my book.

Graphics: This is honestly my biggest gripe in this game. Don't get me wrong, and definitely don't let this deter you from buying the game, but something about the graphics just seems, I don't know.. off? I get that this was a console port, but something about the overall graphics just doesn't seem right. Even if you are playing at max settings, there is a weird kind of pixelization/blurry effect. I have messed with the settings quite a bit, but nothing really seemed to help. But since there are a few mods out this pretty much fix this problem I wouldn't get too worried about it. And besides the weird pixelization, the graphics are absolutely stunning. You can tell the devs really did care about the overall aethetic for this game. All the armour sets are unique and look amazing, as well as the monsters and weapons. If not for the weird effect, I would give the overall graphics of this game an A-.

Controls: Because this is my first Monster Hunter game that I have played, I can't tell you whether the controls are any different compared to the past games. But as a MH noob, the control scheme perfect laid out and was easy to get a grip on. All the button's made sense to me (I only had to change one key because it interfered with my PTT) and seemed well thought out. Even if you did not like the controls, it is very easy to remap them in the settings :)

Replayability and is it worth the $60: To me, unless you are a hardcore MH fan, or if you are absolutely sure you are going to invest time in this game, I would wait for sale (I would pay ~$45). Once I beat the game and had the best weapon/armour for my class I couldn't find another reason to play the game again. The game is super fun and I enjoyed every minute that I put into it, but I just couldn't find anything else to sink time into, it felt a bit repetitive. Sure you can make a new character and start over again, or build a new class, but what's the point? You will just be repeating the same quests and fighting the same monsters. But I will definitely be picking this game up again once a content expansion is release.

TLDR; gameplay is amazing until you hit end game where it all begins to feel repetitive. Graphics are beautiful but have some issues, there are currently mods you can install that would fix said issues. Controls are intuitive and feel good and responsive, but if you are not a fan of the controls, they can easily be remapped. I wouldn't pay the full 60 dollars unless you are sure you are going to put a lot of time into the game. I beat the game in just under 70 hours. 8.5/10

This game is beautiful. This game is Godlike. Very far up there like the walking dead and Last of Us. You get attached to the characters and want to talk to all of them and you get so attached to the world and story of the game. That it is almost hard to bare something bad happening to someone you like

Toxic community with very poor balance. Game is also WAYY too easy. only 11 hours and it's pretty easy to dominate the server 90% of the time. Snipers are too easy too use. Shotguns one shot from years away. If you want to be part of a cancer community with 0 potential to become an actual game, this is the one for you!
