I went into this game with an open mind. I would've loved it if it was a straight continuation of the first game, but I honestly enjoyed my time with the game. There are parts where I feel like the characters are just standing around so the action scenes feel off, and although I love the writing style I felt like it got in the way of a few scenes. That aside, I ended up growing attached to these characters ESPECIALLY as the game continued. They all have to deal with the problems in their life and it makes them feel very human. I still think the game could've been better, but I thought it was an alright time.

I can't put down this god forsaken game. I've been playing since The Taken King and it's been a rollercoaster ever since. I still enjoy the game even after it gets stale after awhile because the gun play just feels that amazing, but I wouldn't recommend it for new players without having a friend to properly guide you through the game. There's a lot of content locked behind DLCs so it leaves the free-to-play experience shallow.
