Very fun game, and very reminiscent of slay the spire. However, Hellcard has a few twist that I think give it an edge of other cards games.

-3D zone/area based arena that adds an entire level of depth and tactics
-Multiplayer, play with your friends of randoms which can be very fun to plan out attacks and combos
-Endless mode with leader boards and torment levels

What a gem, such a chill easy to play game. Super intuitive with a mix of subnatica vibes. Watching your planet go from mars like to a garden paradise slowly overtime feels very rewarding. At late game, I really enjoyed the wreck exploring warp gate. Such a need feature to keep the game fresh and give you something to do and explore while your planet finishes terraforming.

*SPOILERS*
I also enjoyed that there where 3 different endings, and that you can experience all of them if you want to.

Amazingly fun game with a very unique take and game play loop. The PVE servers are the way to go however. The PVP ends up being you VS a clan of 2+ people 90% of the time. Unless you have a pile of friends to play with PVE servers are a must.

Being a huge MW4 Merchs I was super excited when this first came out. However I quickly put it down finding it lack luster. However I recently picked up some DLC on sale and tried it again. MAN! I've been having a blast. The mods and DLC make a huge difference. Also if you have friends to play with this game gets 10x better. Nothing like rolling into destroy a base or assassinate some scumlord with your boys at your back.

(I'd highly recommend getting it on sale though) :P

Fun game, with some neat progression and some cool base building. There isn't a ton of end game right now, but the devs seem to be working on it :)

As I write this review they have 152 people players world wide... This is because they NEVER listen to their community or use feedback, They've run this game into the ground. GG you played yourselves devs, hope you learn from this when you start your new game, this one you killed.

I want to preface my review by acknowledging that I do really enjoy the overall game. I think it's much better then Dayz and other survival games in many ways. However there is a huge problem with base building that ruined the game for me and must be addressed. Successful survival games that incorporate base building usually follow a 2:1 or 2:1.5 ratio of time it takes to raid a base vs time it takes a build a base. Meaning if I take the time to build a single wall, it will take roughly the double that amount of time to farm the materials to raid and destroy said wall. However with the new base building patch the time ratios are all screwy. Getting to tier 5 concrete walls requires to upgrade that wall through each of the 5 wall stages in the game creating such a massive time sink that it's actually easier to just have some buried chests instead of a base and to spend your time farming ammo/c4 to raid. I found that I could farm more ammo/c4 faster then I could complete a full concrete wall around my cabin. This is a HUGE issue for anyone who wants to actually base build. If you think about the volume of people who quit scum after probably spent hundreds of hours base building just to be easily raided, you can see the issue. I don't want people to quit playing the game because they chose to base build rather then farm c4/ammo with their time. I think the devs need to play with the golden ratios a bit more and get it down to at least 1:1.5. Another thing that could really help is tweaking ammo raids. I think metal+ should require c4 to destroy, this change alone might help bring balance back to the game. Until they do, I think im going to have to shelf the game again and hope they don't kill off their dwindling population.

A fun card game/rpg game with some neat deck building elements. After about 10 hours of playing, I can say I definitely recommend this game for the price. However I did have some notes for the devs if they ever see this.

-I feel like the difficulty scales waaaay to quickly. It was like a light switch, I went from owning everything to getting destroyed by every group. Why not have the game scale up and down in difficulty based on how well the player is doing. If they are getting owned over and over then it gets turned down a notch and vise versa.
-It feels insanely grindy, especially when you're looking for a specific card or artifact. I would like to suggest an option menu when you leave the inn. Let the play pick zone they are traveling to, forest, water, etc so they can try to farm a specific card or artifact.
-Give us the option to save different decks. I REALLY hate having to rebuild my deck and artifacts each time I run into a certain mob type, then having to change it back right after.

Keep up the good work, this game has a ton of potential and I can't wait to see what it becomes!
