This is an amazing co-operative roguelike in the manner that each mission is short but progress will take a while to unlock and upgrade everything a growing dwarf needs! The missions are varied and fun and the weapons feel customizable enough to encourage you to experiment and find the play you enjoy the most!

It advertises itself as a roguelike deckbuilder but unlike the vast majority of the genre the opponent's moves are unknown and often quite random and brutal killing the fun.

While I'm sure it's easy enough to say "Slay the Spire but in Space" this game shares just enough that you fellow Slay-the-spire-addicts will feel right at home while offering some unique new ideas to the fledgling genre and it doesn't feel like a blatant reskin. It's certainly harder than Slay and isn't quite as polished (yet) but certainly worth giving a shot!

Early Access Review
This game is super fun! It's got a perfect length to have a fun time and then either take a break or jump back in and see what happens next.

A classical turn-based Job-oriented JRPG with deep strategy. With most trash fights you'll have to think and not just mash "fight" repeatedly and with boss fights - well just remember to use the restroom and grab a drink *before* you start the boss fight. The game feels deeply rewarding without being too difficult - and has a difficulty slider if you prefer more or less challenge than it offers out-the-box. The story is also very good though the dialogue slightly less so and the voice acting felt like they had a quota for accents during casting lol. So far I'm really enjoying it and given that it took 20 hours to get to chapter 2 of 8 I'm sure I'll get my money's worth.

If you (like me) found Factorio awesome but a bit overwhelming then you should absolutely try this out! Plus it's got cross-platform multiplayer across Android, Linux, Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Steam!

As a big fan of Slay the Spire I felt right at home with the game loop. It adds the ideas of multiple levels of battlefield and creatures you summon to battle the opponent's creatures in a wave-structure. The slow deckbuilding elements combined with a very clear risk-vs-reward mentality make for a truly enjoyable game. When you get a reward there's always the option to take some amount of gold instead which is really nice coming from StS where often you only get the choice to add to your deck or skip a reward. More to the point after unlocking everything StS had to offer I'm loving starting over with Monster Train unlocking new cards and loot for future runs!

A CCG draft meets a roguelike and they produce wonderful fun! Deck management is incredibly fun, and the game continues to challenge me so whether you just wanna play around for a while or challenge yourself to the ever increasing difficulty that comes with ascension you really should give it a try.
