Over a year into release and:

-the game is still riddled with cheaters
-premier is still in "season 1"
-poor optimisation
-weapon balance is terrible
-hitreg is inconsistent
-subtick encouraging mindless "swing everything" gameplay
-CT side more punishing than ever
-Faceit is literally the only way to play
-which leads to Faceit being bad cause players on there who should still be in MM
-only significant updates are cosmetics to give valve more money
-old maps reworked to be more T-sided and require less thinking
-constant rubberbanding
-rubberbanding on bad clip brushes on the maps
-jump throw utility being broken
-removal of jump throw binds cause Source 2 engine broke jumping in CS
-subtick damage prediction and back tracking makes jiggle peeking near impossible
-playing above 40 ping makes the game fall apart

It's a damn shame to have CSGO finally reach its most playable and "complete" state to just get rug pulled and forced into beta testing a clearly rushed sub-par replacement. When the game does work, with the qualifier of "when" being very important, it can be fun and close to CSGO, but those games are such a small fraction, that it doesn't leave you wanting to grind more like old CS. In this current state, I cannot recommends this game to any player new and old to CS, if I were a new player today, I would simply never even bother with this game.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. UNLESS IT GOES ON SALE. TOTALLY NOT WORTH.
